First Look at Woody Woodpecker Movie
According to IMDb, Woody Woodpecker is coming to theaters in 2017 in his first ever movie. Which is odd, since we've heard little to nothing at all about it. Today, we have a look at the annoying bird courtesy of Imp Awards. This one-sheet is for international audiences, which has us wondering if this is even going to get a proper release on America shores.

The Woody Woodpecker movie is taking on an environmentally conscious theme, and will tackle social issues with a deft hand at the comedy fans have come to know and love. The plot finds the hyperactive red-head entering a turf war with a big city lawyer who wants to tear down his home. This is all in an effort to build a house to flip. From the poster, we'd assume that this is a fully animated CGI movie. But we'd be wrong, as it's listed as being

Jingle All the Way 2 is happening with Larry the Cable Guy

Jingle All the Way 2 is happening with Larry the Cable Guy
Despite being critically panned, an under-performer at the box office and the second-worst film of Arnold Schwarzenegger's '90s career (after Batman & Robin), Jingle All the Way has miraculously spawned a sequel.

There's no place for Arnie in the belated follow-up, however, as Larry the Cable Guy takes on the role of a laid-back dad struggling to get his daughter the sought-after Harrison Bear for Christmas.

A co-production between 20th Century Fox and WWE Studios, the comedy features wrestler Santino Marella in a prominent role with Brian Stepanek, Kristen Robek and Kennedi Clements in the cast.

Director Alex Zamm, whose previous credits include Tooth Fairy 2, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 and Inspector Gadget 2, is pulling a double shift as the voice of the bear.

Jingle All the Way 2 will be heading straight to DVD and Blu-ray on December 2.

  • Dark Horizons
WWE Studios and Twentieth Century Fox are partnering on a pair of sequels - a sequel to the 1996 Schwarzenegger holiday comedy "Jingle All The Way" and a fourth film in the Dtv "The Marine" franchise.

Larry the Cable Guy and WWE’s Santino Marella will topline the 'Jingle' sequel which Alex Zamm will direct. Filming begins in March with a direct to disc and VOD release planned for the holiday.

Jingle All the Way 2 is Happening - Without Arnold

  • Cinelinx
A sequel to the greatest Christmas film of all time is finally being made, without its original star.

It's Turbo Time again. But not the Turbo Time you remember. That Turbo Time is gone forever, like a a fart from Ted the Reindeer in the winter wind. Admit it: Jingle All the Way is a guilty pleasure that is best consumed in secret every holiday, like cheap boxed wine. Even now, the classic lines from that film are running through your head with a bad Austrian accent tied to it.

If you felt a great disturbance in the Force today, it was because millions of Jingle All the Way fans screamed out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. It came as news broke that Twentieth Century Fox and WWE Studios (yeah, there's a movie studio for a fake sport) were teaming up on a Jingle All the Way sequel. It

Larry The Cable Guy Will Star In The Straight-To-Video Sequel To Jingle All The Way

Continuing his reign as the champion of the lowest common denominator, human catchphrase Larry the Cable Guy is set to “git r done” in a straight-to-video sequel to the 1996 film Jingle All the Way.

The original starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad as two rivals fighting to get their kid the last of a much-sought-after Christmas toy, probably only to learn the real meaning of the holiday by the end of the film. I haven’t actually seen it; that’s just a hunch. No plot details have been given about the new film, but it is set to co-star WWE’s Santino Marella, who might be someone you know if you’re into watching two oiled-up guys rassle around while pretending to hate each other’s guts.

What are the odds that the sequel will rehash the plot of the first film, once again following two fathers who need to

WWE Studios working on Jingle All The Way 2 with Larry The Cable Guy

Put that cookie down! Jingle All The Way 2 is incoming...

WWE Studios and 20th Century Fox are teaming up for a belated sequel to the 1996 Christmas classic Jingle All The Way. There will be no Arnold Schwarzenegger this time round who instead will be replaced by Larry the Cable Guy (Cars, Cars 2).

Jingle All The Way has become somewhat of a 'joke' Christmas movie to be enjoyed ironically and has been torn to pieces by websites and podcasts over the years including The Nostalgia Critic and How Did This Get Made?.

The film featured Schwarzenegger as a father who was trying to buy his son a Turbo Man doll during the Christmas rush. It was supposed to be a satire of Christmas fads like Cabbage Path Dolls, Power Rangers and Buzz Lightyear and became a hotly contested court battle between 20th Century Fox and Brian Webster/Murray Hill

There's no Arnold Schwarzenegger, but a sequel is coming to 1996's Jingle All The Way...

Crikey. You win a biscuit if you saw this one coming. 20th Century Fox and WWE Studios are teaming up to make a very belated sequel to the Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy, Jingle All The Way.

The movie is set to be directed by Alex Zamm, who helmed the straight to DVD sequel Tooth Fairy 2. Jingle All The Way 2 will not be seeing the inside of a cinema either, nor will Arnold Schwarzenegger be in it. Instead, Larry The Cable Guy will be taking the lead this time around.

Fox and WWE Studios are also planning a further sequel to The Marine. The Marine 4 will star Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin.

More on both of these films at your local DVD emporium towards the end of the year...

WWE Studios and Fox Tag Team on Sequels to ‘Jingle All the Way’ and ‘The Marine’

WWE Studios will produce “Jingle All the Way 2,” starring Larry the Cable Guy, and a fourth installment of “The Marine” together with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

WWE star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will return for “The Marine 4,” after starring in the third outing last year. Should the film, which will also feature WWE Diva Summer Rae, prove a popular seller, the film could give Mizanin his first film franchise. Mizanin headlined the ABC Family comedy “Christmas Bounty” over the holidays.

The “Jingle” sequel, to be directed by Alex Zamm, will also feature WWE’s Santino Marella. Film starts production in March and will become available on homevideo platforms this holiday. Zamm also directed direct-to-homevideo comedy “Tooth Fairy 2,” also headlined by Larry the Cable Guy.

The projects mark the eighth time WWE Studios has produced a film with Fox. Others include the theatrical releases “The Marine” and “12 Rounds,” both of which starred John Cena.

8 Actors We Never Need to See in Another Movie Ever Again

  • MovieWeb
Fame is a fleeting fox that outruns most. Sometimes, notoriety outshines its own spotlight. Whether through the casting couch or blood, sweat and tears, the occasional performer will squeak through to the other side and achieve a modicum of accolades. Some are worthwhile, while others are unbearable. We all have that irritating nitpick of an actor who occasional, and suddenly, pops up in a movie just when the getting is good, and it swerves the car completely off the road. "Who invited this guy?" we ask ourselves, hoping s/he gets killed off before we have to get up out of our seat and ask for our money back.

It's a mild irritation, all things considered.

And then there's that very special group of actors who simply don't belong in movies at all. Yet there they are, begging us to watch them, vying for our attention before they are quickly

Watch Test Footage From The Eddie Murphy 'Hong Kong Phooey' Project That Almost Happened

  • ShadowAndAct
The short story goes... in August 2011, Eddie Murphy teamed up with director Alex Zamm (Tooth Fairy 2, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2) to make a live-action version of the classic cartoon Hong Kong Phooey. We must have missed the announcement of the project, because, I checked the S&A archives and didn't find any posts on it. Over a year later, the movie obviously hasn't happened; will it? I dunno. I don't think I particularly care either, especially if the video below is anything to go by. All that's left of the project is some test footage that was shot for it, and that has surfaced. Apparently Zamm released the footage online, via his Vimeo...

Watch Test Footage from Hong Kong Phooey and Marvin the Martian Movies

Last year, Warner Bros announced that it is developing a live-action "Hong Kong Phooey" film, to be directed by Alex Zamm ((Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Tooth Fairy 2) and voiced by Eddie Murphy. It's not clear what the status of the project is, but Zamm has now unveiled test footage from the movie. Check it out below, in addition to footage from the live-action "Marvin the Martian" movie, which Zamm has been also attached to. "Hong Kong Phooey" revolves around a mild-mannered dog, named Penry, who, after stumbling into a mystic ceremony, is accidentally granted mystic powers, including the ability to walk, talk, and do kung fu. Under the tutelage of his kung fu master and with the help of his sidekick, Spot the cat, Penry dons a costume and becomes a crime fighter. "Marvin the Martian" movie was announced back in 2008 and is based on a classic "Looney Tunes" character.

See what could've been in the Hong Kong Phooey and Marvin The Martian live-action test reel!

  • JoBlo
Director Alex Zamm has produced some of the most asinine movies you ever saw on a DVD shelf.  From Carrot Top's Chairman Of The Board to Inspector Gadget 2 to Tooth Fairy 2 and an upcoming new version of The Little Rascals, Zamm is essentially the go-to guy for all those Dtv sequels and prequels that leave you shaking your head with "just why?" rolling off your tongue.  With that said, I have to give Zamm at least a little credit for this test reel for adaptations...

Now They’re Just Rebooting Stuff You Don’t Care About: New ‘Little Rascals’ Gets a Director

File this one under “I’m sorry, what?” Universal already made some unexpected mint with their Three Stooges reboot from earlier this year, so why not give that same treatment to something like, oh, how about The Little Rascals? What, you don’t care about The Little Rascals? Moviehole (via Cinema Blend) reports that Universal is rebooting the classic ’30s and ’40s television show Our Gang for a new feature that will also draw inspiration from the 1994 feature film that attempted to make the cute-kids-being-tricksters trope feel more modern, with surprisingly okay results (that one also came from Uni). The film doesn’t yet have a cast, but they’ve lined up one heck of a director. The new Rascals will be helmed by one Alex Zamm, possessor of one of the most boggling resumes in current circulation. Hey, someone needs to direct the straight-to-video Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, right? Right
