The Vampire Diaries Recap: Hell's Bell
When it comes to lunatic teachers leading their students into life-threatening situations under the guise of a “field trip,” Ms. Frizzle’s got nothing on The Vampire Diaries‘ Sybil.

I mean, I don’t recall the Magic School Bus dropping any kids off in the middle of the woods to recreate a mass witch burning. And I’m fairly certain Ms. Frizzle never abandoned her students to track down a supernatural siren bell. Yet those activities were all on Sybil’s to-do list during Friday’s episode, which also dropped

The Vampire Diaries: Alexandra Chando Joins Final Season

  • TVfanatic
The Vampire Diaries has had a lot of Elena Gilbert doppelgängers over the years, but it's been decided that a different approach would be taken this season.

A key role will be filled with an actress who could pass as Nina Dobrev, and we're kind of freaking out about it.

That actress is Alexandra Chando.

Chando is slated to appear on The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 8 as a doctor named Tara, who will apparently become embroiled in Damon and Stefan's plans to get the darkest souls for Cade.

Yes, the Devil is in Mystic Falls, and he's got the two Salvatore brothers doing his bidding.

A lot of supernatural series introduce the Devil one point or another, but something about the way it's being executed on The Vampire Diaries is surprisingly fresh.

The episode will also be directed by none other than Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon.

It's kind of a big deal.

After all, leading into the Christmastime break, Barry gifted Iris with no less than an apartment for them to share. While that was unarguably an incredibly romantic gesture, to some viewers it seemed a bit sudden for a couple that only recently managed to lick the whole “dating” thing.
