Aaron Carter Shares Pic From Hospital After Revealing He Was Body-Shamed by a Fan: 'I Have an Eating Disorder'

Aaron Carter is fighting back against a "so-called fan" who he overheard body-shaming him.

The 29-year-old singer took to Twitter on Thursday to open up about the experience, explaining that his appearance is a result of medical issues and an "eating disorder."

Update, 2/19 - 10 Am Pt: In response to the incident that took place on Friday, Aaron Carter's rep told Et in a statement,"No racial slur was used by Aaron Carter. His response to his attacker was a pop culture slang phrase equivalent to the phrase "Bye, Felicia," also found in the urban dictionary. As a result, Aaron was punched twice in the head and left bloody, so he was taken to the hospital for observation."

Synopsis

Eight "crazy bitches" reunite for a weekend of gossip and girl-talk at a remote cabin in the woods. A few drinks into their weekend, they learn of a gruesome crime that occurred at their campsite. Dismissing it as a tall tale, the gang continues its celebration with red wine, hanky-panky, and cat-fights – until one of them disappears. As the fun-filled holiday turns into a race against death, the girls turn both to and on each other.

'Crazy Bitches': First Look at the upcoming slasher satire -- Exclusive
“Each one of the girls dies a gruesome death, and the killer takes a trophy … things it turns out each girl was most stuck-up about.”

That’s the premise of this slasher horror-comedy with the pull-no-punches title of Crazy Bitches.

Written and directed by Jane Clark (who previously made the gritty, Lukas Haas drug drama Meth Head), the indie film is set for a debut at the Lgbt festivals Frameline (June 26) and OutFest (July 17).

The story tracks a reunion of former sorority sisters and their “one fab gay guy” friend as they head out for a getaway in a prototypical cabin in the woods.

Cannes14: Michael Bartlett's 'House of Last Things" starring Rj Mitte Gets U.S/Canada/U.K/Germany Distribution

Recently during the Cannes Marche du Film, Jason Moring, Double Dutch International president, announced it has sold distribution rights for the feature House of Last Things in the following territories: Us and Canada (Revolver), UK (Signature Entertainment), and Germany (MiG). Double Dutch International is selling remaining territories.

The film marks the Us directorial debut of AFI grad Michael Bartlett (The Little Girl Who Fell From The Tree), who also wrote the film. It stars Lindsey Haun (True Blood, Shrooms), Blake Berris (Days of Our Lives, Meth Head), and Rj Mitte in his feature film debut following his role as Walter White Jr. in the Emmy Award-winning series Breaking Bad.

House of Last Things is a mind-bending thriller set in Portland, Oregon about an unspoken tragedy and its effects on a house, its temporary caretakers and the owners, a classical music critic and his wife on a recuperative trip to Italy.

"Double Dutch is excited to announce these territory deals," says Moring, "House of Last Things is a gripping thriller. Revolver, Signature Entertainment and MiG are the perfect distributors to handle the film.'"

The Revolver deal was negotiated by Ron Moring for Double Dutch and Daniel Brandt for Revolver.

"House of Last Thingsis the type of film that will satisfy arthouse and horror fans alike," says Brandt, "Bartlett's portrayal of the evil lurking in suburbia is reminiscent of David Lynch 's Blue Velvet."

The Motel Life starring Emile Hirsch and Dakota Fanning to be distributed by Random Media

The Motel Life starring Emile Hirsch (Lone Survivor, Killer Joe) and Dakota Fanning (The Twilight Saga, Night Moves) leads the slate announced by new distributor Random Media, launched by long-time executive Eric Doctorow. The Motel Life is based on Willy Vlautin's novel, and is directed and produced by Gabe Polsky and Alan Polsky with Stephen Dorff (Blade, The Iceman) and Kris Kristofferson (Blade, The Jacket) to also star.

Random Media's slate also includes Guardian of the Highlands, an animated film with Sean Connery (The Hunt for Red October, Indiana Jones) and Alan Cumming (X2, The Good Wife) about an aging skateboarding vet who saves a fugitive beaver, while other films include Around the Block, For Those in Peril, The Secret Lives of Dorks, The Last Supper, documentary $ellebrity and Meth Head.

Random seems to have some projects lined up and is definitely something to keep an eye on.

The Motel Life,” starring Emile Hirsch and Dakota Fanning, heads the slate unveiled by newly minted distributor Random Media, launched by veteran executive Eric Doctorow.

Random, which is aiming to care out a niche in the home entertainment space, also has hired former Indomina Media and Netflix exec Rob Williams as senior VP and head of acquisitions.

Random signed a multi-year distribution deal with Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment in June.

“Jackhammer” Filming In May, Lands Cast

Linda Hunter and Aj Johnston of Bristow Films are re-teaming with Screen Australia for their second picture, entitled Jackhammer and described as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. The film stars Starlet’s Dree Hemingway, The Day The Music Died’s Guy Kent and Friday Night LightsDora Madison Burge.

Australian fashion photographer and indie filmmaker Linda Hunter is set to shoot her second feature Jackhammer in May 2013 in London, UK; Screen Australia is co-producing with Hunter’s NY-based Bristow Films. Charles Merson (‘Petunia’, ‘Mangus!’) will also produce. This project marks Screen’s second UK-set production. Hunter is directing from a script she penned.

"Slate and Kelly" To Hunt Drag Killers

FilmMcQueen and Marteau Films are teaming to produce the $2.2 million comedy thriller "Slate and Kelly".

The story centers on Lapd officers Slate and Kelly who team up in Paris to take on a serial killer of drag queens.

Candis Cayne is attached, while Wilson Cruz is being pursued for the role of Kelly. The project marks Jane Clark's second project following "Meth Head" with Tom Sizemore.

'Slate' will be shot on location in France with a mostly French cast. Gautier Cazenave, Jean-Noël Georgel and John W. McLaughlin will produce.

Interview: A Vote for Actor Necar Zadegan on ‘Emily Owens, M.D.’

Chicago – One of the perkier new TV shows of the fall season on The CW network is the medical drama, “Emily Owens, M.D.,” about a first year medical student navigating the rigors of a big city hospital. One of the more memorable characters is Dr. Gina Bandari, portrayed by Necar Zadegan, a teaching surgeon that Emily (Marnie Gummer) will encounter along her journey.

Zadegan is a familiar television face, creating the distinct character of Dalia Hassan in Season 8 – the last season – for the popular drama “24.” After graduating with a degree in literature from the University of California, Zadegan amassed a number of TV appearances up until her role as Dalia. In film, she appeared in the notable independent entitled “Elena Undone” (2010), and will be in the upcoming “Meth Head.”
