Jurassic World 2 Trailer Is Only from First Hour of the Movie
The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has finally arrived online. The trailer has received mixed reactions from fans, but there's a whole lot of action in it and it definitely helps set up the plot, which will involve a volcanic eruption on Isla Nublar and an attempted rescue mission for the dinosaurs on the island. However, as much as it looks like this trailer lays out the entire movie on a platter, that's far from the case. In fact, writer and producer Colin Trevorrow reveals that the trailer only contains footage from the first hour of the movie.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first Jurassic World, took to Twitter last night to make the rather unexpected reveal. The ‘Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer Roars Online! Watch It Here!

As promised, and following multiple teases, the first Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom trailer has launched online. The promo premiered during Thursday Night Football in the U.S. and hit the web straight afterwards on Universal Pictures‘ official channels. The sequel to the 2015 rebirth of the hit dinosaur series will arrive in cinemas next summer.

It is Universal’s biggest money-maker of all time by quite a margin.

Yet Another ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer Tease Has Surfaced With ‘More Teeth’

Following yesterday’s reveal, yet another Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer teaser has surfaced online courtesy of the film’s co-writer, Colin Trevorrow.

The filmmaker posted the 15-second long glimpse at the adventure sequel ahead of the debut of the full trailer on Thursday evening during the NFL Thursday Night Football game.

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Bd Wong and Jeff Goldblum are amongst the cast of the film, which is directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls, The Impossible).

Naomi Watts to Topline Psychological Thriller “The Wolf Hour”

Two-time Oscar nominee Naomi Watts has booked her next gig. The Australian actress will star in and executive produce “The Wolf Hour,” a psychological thriller set during the 1977 New York blackout riots.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Watts will play “a cultural icon and activist during the ’60s who has since fallen from grace and is a shell of her former self, now facing her demons at the height of one of the darkest points in the city’s history.”

Alistair Banks (“Two Gates of Sleep”) penned the script and will direct.

The Wolf Hour” will launch production late this fall in NYC. Bradley Pilz Productions is fully financing the project and Pilz is among its producers.

Watts received Oscar nods for her roles in “The Impossible” and “21 Grams.” “Twin Peaks,” “Gypsy,” and “The Glass Castle” are among her recent credits. Her upcoming projects include “Ophelia,” a reimagining of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” and Gia Coppola’s “The Secret Life of the Lonely Doll,” an indie drama based on a true story. Co-starring Jessica Lange, the latter project centers on author Dare Wright and the journalist who found her living in a public hospital four decades after she became a household name.

Enrique López Lavigne on ‘Spanish Shame,’ Pioneering Comedy in Spain

San Sebastian — One of Spain’s leading producers, Enrique López Lavigne, presented Juan Cavestany and Álvaro Fernández Armero’s “Spanish Shame” at the 65th San Sebastian Film Festival. “Shame” is the first whole series to be screened at the Spanish event and Lavigne is one of Spain’s most international producers having worked on “28 Weeks Later,” “The Impossible” and “Out of The Dark.” The producer is also building a more independent and personal slate with smaller productions such as Cavestany’s “People in Places” and Nacho Vigalondo’s “Extraterrestrial.” “Shame” is his first TV show, produced with Movistar +, but probably not the last.
