Avengers: Infinity War Footage Arrives In Disney Channel Special

Well, that didn't take long. Less than 2 weeks after the Infinity War TV spot that aired during the Super Bowl, we now have more brand-new footage to go over, thanks to the exclusive special look from the Disney Channel. News that the footage was going to be aired was shown in a commercial featuring Tom Holland earlier in the week that promised a special look into Infinity War, and they were not playing. Additionally, we were treated to new footage from A Wrinkle in Time and The Incredibles 2.

The promotional campaign has been ramping up for Infinity War now that Black Panther is officially in theaters. We've seen the leaks of the official Lego sets that made their debut at the New York Toy Fair earlier this week and they go well with the previously released TV spot, filling in gaps. For instance, when Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange

Over a Dozen New ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ Images Reveal A Wild Adventure

Disney had released a batch of new images from Ava DuVernay‘s ambitious adaptation of ‘A Wrinkle in Time‘. Although we recently saw the final trailer for the film just last week, these new images give us a great look at the amazing cast, along with some of the mesmerizing visuals that are sure to accompany the film. ‘A Wrinkle in Time‘ is based on the 1962 Madeline L’Engle novel of the same name, and follows a young girl (newcomer Storm Reid) as searches for her missing father (Chris Pine) using some form of inter-dimensional travel.

Even though I’ve never read the source material, the film looks to have a strong hold on mixing such a classic story with DuVernay’s uniques perspective, along with a cast that modernizes the story a bit. There’s something really cool about seeing the filmmakers include such a diverse cast for the

Cap Leads The Way On This All-New Avengers: Infinity War Merchandise

Captain America, Steve Rogers, Nomad – whichever title he chooses to bear, we know Chris Evans’ star-spangled patriot is about to undergo a pretty radical transformation in Avengers: Infinity War.

Still licking his wounds – both physical and emotional – in the fallout of Captain America: Civil War, Rogers is a man operating on the fringes of society. Disillusioned by the level of corruption gnawing away at the U.S government, the Phase One Avenger ostensibly slips off the radar to become a solitary (and bearded!) vigilante. And so Nomad is born.

That being said, Joe and Anthony Russo have consistently played down reports that Captain America will be totally unrecognizable come Infinity War; instead, he’ll be “embracing the spirit” of Nomad, as he’s slowly coaxed back to the fray in time to fight Thanos and his malevolent Black Order.

All of this and more will inform his journey throughout Infinity War and its untitled sequel,

Disney has released a slew of new high-resolution A Wrinkle in Time images, from the upcoming big-budget adaptation. DuVernay was tapped to helm the Disney blockbuster after making waves with her stunning Mlk biopic Selma. She was offered a number of other projects, including Black Panther, but sparked to the idea of bringing A Wrinkle in Time to the screen with a representative cast. Indeed, there’s something deeply …

Final Gringo Trailer Takes an All-Star Cast on a Wild Joy Ride

Amazon Studios has released a final trailer for their raucous comedy Gringo, featuring new footage with stars Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton and David Oyelowo. Unlike Netflix original movies, which almost always eschew any type of theatrical release, Amazon Studios' movies are most often given theatrical releases, before arriving on the Amazon Prime video streaming service at a later date, which will likely be the case with Gringo. Unlike Amazon Studios' awards-season films like Manchester-By-The-Sea and The Big Sick, Gringo is most certainly not "Oscar bait," but this R-rated comedy may certainly find a welcoming audience.

An exhilarating mix of dark comedy, white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, Gringo joyrides into Mexico, where mild-mannered businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) finds himself at the mercy of his back-stabbing business colleagues back home, local drug lords and a morally conflicted black-ops mercenary. Crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal, Harold battles to

New Avengers: Infinity War Promo Due Tomorrow?

Update: This has now been confirmed via YouTube.

February 16th will be a day long remembered by Marvel Studios.

After years spent languishing on the brink of development, not to mention Wesley Snipes’ own campaign to bring T’Challa to the silver screen, Black Panther is finally prepped and ready for his U.S. debut. It’s said to be targeting a four-day weekend in the region of $165 million, while Kevin Feige has already mulled over the possibility of a sequel – a sequel he’d like Ryan Coogler to direct.

But if a new online rumor is to be believed, then tomorrow will also herald a new preview for Avengers: Infinity War. Exactly what this promo will entail is up for question, though chances are it’ll take the form of a Bts featurette or some carefully crafted teaser that reuses a lot of existing footage.

When Will The Full Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Debut?

Even with only a teaser trailer and Super Bowl spot under its belt so far, you could say that the Avengers: Infinity War marketing campaign is off to a smashing start. After all, both previews were perfectly edited and offered up thrilling looks at what’s sure to be 2018’s biggest film. Not to mention they both contained several instantly iconic moments that still have fans talking.

But with all that now out of the way, the question remains: when will the studio drop the first, full-length trailer for Infinity War? With the May 4th release date getting closer, it’s gotta be sometime soon, but given that nothing will be arriving this weekend with Black Panther, people are starting to get anxious – and understandably so. Unfortunately, Marvel’s been keeping quiet on their plans, but the folks over at Screen Rant have put on their thinking caps and believe

Rumor: Star Wars’ Roster of Directors, Writers is About to Become Much More Diverse

New Star Wars rumors indicate that Lucasfilm is attempting to diversify by hiring women and people of color for as-yet unannounced projects in the franchise.

On Twitter, the Black List founder Franklin Leonard suggested that Lucasfilm is looking to bring on “multiple women and people of color to write and direct Star Wars films,” but has kept the proceedings quiet in order to “respect their privacy.” The Tracking Board‘s Jeff Sneider backed up the rumors, although he couldn’t name any specific creatives involved, and floated the idea that Lucasfilm may be interested in Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler and A Wrinkle In Time’s Ava DuVernay.

‘Star Wars’: 96% of Its Film Universe Writers and Directors Are White Men

‘Star Wars’: 96% of Its Film Universe Writers and Directors Are White Men
I love the “Star Wars” movies. I adored “The Last Jedi” and cried during almost all of Carrie Fisher’s scenes. I’m a fan of the other recent “Star Wars” films as well, and watching the first George Lucas space adventure back in 1977 — in a second-run theater with wooden floors — is one of the formative experiences of my childhood. I was transported into the stars, and in some ways, I never came back.

But loving something doesn’t mean you ignore its flaws. In fact, if you’re a critic, you’re not doing your job if you fail to comment on the patterns you see.

The “Star Wars” tapestry is now 41 years old, with 17 theatrical films (released or planned) forming the backbone of the franchise. By my count, during those four decades, 24 people were hired to direct, write or otherwise take the creative lead on “Star Wars” feature films.

How Reese Witherspoon Reclaimed Her Power After Leaving an Abusive Relationship
In the March issue of O, The Oprah Magazine (on newsstands Feb. 13), Oprah Winfrey interviews actresses Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon, her co-stars in Ava DuVernay's adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time. The trio talk openly about how the #MeToo movement and Time's Up initiative have impacted Hollywood—and, by extension, women across all industries. "What's the most difficult decision you've had to make to fulfill your destiny?" Winfrey asks. "For me, probably leaving an abusive relationship," Witherspoon replies, adding that she endured both "psychological" and "verbal" abuse. "I drew a line in the sand, and it got crossed, and my brain just switched. I...

Reese Witherspoon Says 'Relatable' Oprah Loves Margaritas and Having a 'Good Time'
Oprah Winfrey is just like the rest of us, according to Reese Witherspoon.

The actress and media mogul is featured on the cover of the latest issue of the WSJ. Magazine, and Witherspoon, her costar in A Wrinkle in Time, gushed to the outlet about how exciting it was to work together.

Despite Winfrey’s larger than life persona, Witherspoon said the former TV host was refreshingly down to earth. “We had at least four hours doing hair and makeup every day, and Oprah could have had her own trailer,” the actress said.

“But she decided she wanted to do it with Mindy and myself,
