Goofs

When Danny identified who the car was registered to, he stated the owner was Elizabeth Barker, a "Caucasian female, 25 years old," which placed her in the right age window as the victim, since Hawkes determined the victim was "between the ages of 17 and 25." Toward the end of the episode, Flack puts out an alarm on a "Caucasian female, 30 years old, name Elizabeth Barker." See more »

A Crushing Blow To A Few People
28 January 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Here's another original story; a corpse being found inside a crushed car at the junkyard. What's more, the dead body, which had been there about three weeks, had contained a baby at one point, but where was it? I was sorry to see IMDb here say in the storyline about "shocking news about Lyndsay," because it gave it away. It wasn't divulged until the last part of the show. At the start of the show, we see a distraught Danny telling unknown people in an unknown place about his history and it's very dramatic. Something else has just happened that could alter his life (Lyndsay being pregnant) but we don't know that until much later and then we also find out who Danny was talking to.

Whatever, the show focuses more on the crime. Who killed the young woman in the car and what happened to her baby? That's the main story. In the storyline we see parents who are unforgiving and we see a nasty "health care worker" who was in on the crime along with a woman who is too desperate in her search to have a baby.

In all, kind of soap opera-type story which is not the usual for CSI-NY but it was still interesting and Carmine Giovinazzo is great as always as "Danny Messer." I've always thought he was the best character on this show.
