New Halloween Movie Delays Production Until 2018
The new Halloween movie, which is being described as a direct sequel to John Carpenter's original 1978 classic, is not quite ready to go. According to a new report, production is being delayed until early in 2018. From the looks of things, this shouldn't stop it from tearing through movie screens this Halloween season, with its planned release date of October 2018 still in place.

Directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the script with comedy mastermind Danny McBride, this Halloween revival was supposed to kick off this past October. Cameras should already be rolling, but that's not the cast. Multiple sources have confirmed this to be true with Bloody Disgusting.

The movie is set to bring back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, the iconic hero of the first movie. She will be joined by Judy Greer, who is in talks to play Strode's daughter Karen. Apparently, there is still quite

5 of the Most Thrilling Opening Sequences Ever!

There can be little doubt that the opening sequence to any movie is possibly one of the most crucial moments in a picture. It often sets the tone for what is to come, and rarely fools the audience into thinking that they are watching a feature in particular that then suddenly changes course. There are exceptions, such as in Alfred Hitchcock‘s ‘Psycho‘ (1960) where, judging by it’s opening, you would be forgiven for thinking that you were about to watch a film about a love-struck secretary turned thief who goes on the run to be with her boyfriend, only then to run into a sharp knife while taking a shower that completely alters the course of what one is experiencing.

But the likes of the above are one in a thousand. Excitement and appeal are huge factors, and it is important to reassure us that what we paid to

Danny McBride Comments on the Approach to the Storyline in New Halloween Movie

  • DailyDead
With 2017's Halloween season now in the rearview mirror, it's already time to start looking ahead to the autumn of 2018, which will feature the release of the first Halloween movie in nearly ten years. Written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, the next installment in the horror franchise has been hinted to take place in a separate timeline from the sequels, and in a recent interview, McBride discussed the "alternate reality" of the new movie and how it may even look at John Carpenter's original film in a different way.

Speaking with Yahoo, McBride had this to say about the timeline of the new Halloween movie:

"We’re kind of ignoring all the films past the first one. It picks up after the first one, but it’s sort of an alternate reality. It’s as if the first Halloween ended in a slightly different way."

'Dancing with the Stars' Predictions: Who Will Go Home in 6th Place?
It's obvious that something strange and eerie happened on Halloween Night on Dancing with the Stars when both Jordan Fisher and Lindsey Stirling are in the bottom half of the leaderboard.  That's a result of the absurd scoring for the team dances where the judges went out of there wa to praise Team Phantom and give them one of the least-deserved perfect scores I've ever seen on this show.

4.4 Elongated Journey Into The Night

Now that’s more like it!

First of all, allow me to apologise for the lateness of this review. It was Halloween night, so I was out drinking the blood of my enemies or something. Second of all, holy moley I am so happy that I’m happy with Elongated Journey Into The Night. This is the first episode this season where I felt like all the little pieces (and the show’s cranked up sense of humour) have all worked at once.

It’s still a fairly thin story with no real villain to speak of. I don't care this time,

Frozen Metallica Mashup Has Kristen Bell and Dave Grohl Rocking Out
Foo Fighter's front man Dave Grohl took over hosting duties for Jimmy Kimmel Live on Halloween night dressed as David Letterman. But Grohl couldn't just host. Instead, he enthusiastically backed up Kristen Bell on a thrash metal version of Frozen song "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" mashed up with Metallica hit "Enter Sandman." While Grohl was dressed as David Letterman, full beard and all, he did his best to imitate Metallica's Lars Ulrich behind the kit while Bell channeled her inner James Hetfield on the mic.

While Dave Grohl's Halloween costume was tough to beat, Kristen Bell came out as Magnum P.I. (Tom Selleck}, complete with mustache, wig, Hawaiian shirt, and some sweet chest hair. During the main segment interview, Grohl expressed how happy his kids were that he got to hang out and interview Kristen Bell, aka Elsa from Frozen. Bell was on the show
