A wonderful TV piece of work

When I saw the cast, I of course reminded the best Warner Bros westerns of the forties. Starring Errol Flynn, John Ireland and Ann Sheridan, only Zachary Scott, David Brian and Madonald Carey were missing. I am also surprised that this kind of western was made for TV instead of the big screen. Also enjoyed Julie London's presence. The scheme unusual too, with Flynn, as an Army officer in charge of capturing slavers, no matter the indians snooping around. Acting is excellent, and directing too. Don't forget it is Charles Marquis Warren who directed this riveting movie. A real must see for rare gem searchers. I guess Errol Flynn did not make so many films for TV. And, I repeat, this one is absolutely not less than whatever he did in his last features. Maybe not better than Mike Curtiz or Raoul Walsh ones, but a tremendous TV movie.
