Lisa Vanderpump Says 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 6 Features Her Biggest Disappointment Ever (Exclusive)

Lisa Vanderpump Says 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 6 Features Her Biggest Disappointment Ever (Exclusive)
The first two, jaw-dropping episodes of Vanderpump Rules are nothing compared to the rest of the season, according to Lisa Vanderpump.

Season six opened with a bang (no pun intended) when it was revealed that Jax Taylor cheated on longtime girlfriend Brittany Cartwright with her friend and former Sur co-worker, Faith Stowers. At first Jax denied Faith's claims, but by episode two he confessed to doing the deed.

Trust me, I'm the producer on that show, and when I saw episode two, I'm thinking, 'This should be the finale,’” Lisa tells Et. “It's so explosive. It's like, how did we get there so quickly? We got there because Jax Taylor is driving that bus.”

“It's a fast and furious ride,” she adds. “Anything that starts with 'I heard' I normally don't believe, but when it comes to Jax Taylor, unfortunately, I do. So, he's guilty kind of before he's proven innocent … He doesn't understand that life's not all about

Harvey Weinstein Is Suing NY Times Over Sexual Harassment Expose

Harvey Weinstein Is Suing NY Times Over Sexual Harassment Expose
The entertainment industry has been rocked by yet another scandal, with a New York Times report published today, alleging that The Weinstein Company chairman Harvey Weinstein engaged in unwanted sexual harassment and misconduct that went unchecked for decades. A number of prominent figures in the entertainment industry have spoken about about these allegations, but now, just hours after the report was published, Harvey Weinstein is preparing a lawsuit against the New York Times for publishing the report. It was also confirmed that Harvey Weinstein will be taking a leave of absence from the company he started with his brother Bob Weinstein, although it isn't clear how long this leave of absence will be for. Here's what Harvey Weinstein's lawyer, Charles Harder, had to say in a brief statement about the New York Times report.

"It relies on mostly hearsay accounts and a faulty report, apparently stolen from an employee personnel file,

Harvey Weinstein Accused of Decades of Sexual Harassment

Harvey Weinstein Accused of Decades of Sexual Harassment
The Weinstein Company head Harvey Weinstein, a man responsible for six Best Picture Oscar-winning movies, has been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment over the course of several decades. The shocking details were revealed in an expose recently released by The New York Times. In the expose, it is said that Weinstein "has reached at least eight settlements with women" over the years, with more coming forward to accuse him.

Ashley Judd, who is best known for her work on films such as Kiss the Girls, Heat and most recently Twin Peaks, worked with Harvey Weinstein over the years and came forward in the expose to detail her experiences with him. According to her account, Weinstein had her sent up to his room, where he appeared in just a robe and asked if he could give her a massage, or if she would watch him shower. In the situation,

Harvey Weinstein Quotes Jay-z in Bizarre Statement on Sexual Abuse Allegations

Harvey Weinstein Quotes Jay-z in Bizarre Statement on Sexual Abuse Allegations
Harvey Weinstein has issued an official statement in reaction to an article published by The New York Times on Thursday in which a handful of former employees and associates accused the media mogul of sexual abuse that spans decades.

One of the accusers is actress Ashley Judd, who revealed Weinstein had asked her to watch him take a shower in a hotel room. “Women have been talking about Harvey amongst ourselves for a long time, and it’s simply beyond time to have the conversation publicly,” she told The Times. A former assistant, meanwhile, says she gave Weinstein a massage while he was naked, and that’s one of many allegations against the mogul in the article.

Harvey Weinstein Mentions Jay-z, NRA in Bizarre Apology After New York Times Report

Harvey Weinstein Mentions Jay-z, NRA in Bizarre Apology After New York Times Report
On Thursday, the New York Times published a bombshell report that cited “dozens” of allegations detailing inappropriate sexual behavior by producer Harvey Weinstein.

Weinstein responded to the allegations by telling the Times that he would take a leave of absence, and also issued a lengthy apology statement quoting Jay-z (though the excerpt Weinstein pulled from Jay-z’s “4:44” isn’t actually a Jay-z quote) and promising to turn his attention to the NRA. He also claims to be taking advice from high-profile lawyer Lisa Bloom.

Among the women who came forward in the Times’ exposé is actress Ashley Judd, who detailed an experience where she arrived at what she thought was a breakfast meeting to find Weinstein in only a bathrobe. He then asked if she could watch him shower, according to the report (Judd previously described such an encounter in an interview with Variety in 2015, but did not name Weinstein at the time).

The report also

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow: The Complete Second Season Blu-Ray Review

Okay, let’s get something out of the way before I proceed any further: I love DC. I love the Arrowverse. Heck, I regularly cosplay as the Green Arrow and do a fine job of it. Still, I can’t help but be highly indifferent when it comes to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, a series that I find to be a lot of fun but doesn’t quite reach the bar that its brethren in Arrow and The Flash do.

My reasoning is that while the cast obviously has a blast shooting this (Dominic Purcell’s Heat Wave easily steals the show) and most episodes provide for some thrilling science fiction adventures, it’d be hard to identify it as a DC show if you took words such as “Firestorm,” “the Atom,” and “Vixen” out of a number of the teleplays. Put quite simply, I think the producers try

In praise of Dogwoof documentaries

Dave Lawrie Aug 4, 2017

Blackfish, The Act Of Killing - we celebrate the great documentaries distributed by the UK's Dogwoof...

Did you know that around 20 percent of the films released in the UK are documentaries? It’s a surprisingly large figure. I think the reason behind it might be that ‘documentary’ is considered to be a genre in and of itself. “And the Academy Award for best documentary feature goes to…”. They're all lumped into the same bracket. Also, they're relatively cheap to make and can be assembled independently by a team of only a few people. Success at the box office is often down on the priorities list for creators wanting to spread a message, tell a story or get a point across and, when they only need to recoup that small amount to be considered successful, documentary cinema becomes fertile ground for ambitions to grow in.

Kathy Griffin Breaks Down in Tears Defending Controversial Donald Trump Photo: ‘He Broke Me’

Kathy Griffin Breaks Down in Tears Defending Controversial Donald Trump Photo: ‘He Broke Me’
Kathy Griffin is speaking out after receiving backlash for a controversial photo shoot with photographer Tyler Shields, in which she posed with a bloodied replica of President Donald Trump's head.

On Friday, the 56-year-old comedian and her attorney, Lisa Bloom, addressed the media to "explain the true motivation behind the image, and respond to the bullying from the Trump family she has endured," Griffin's rep said in a statement ahead of the press conference.

Bloom first spoke on Griffin's behalf as she stood beside her, and argued that the former My Life on the D-List star has the "right to publicly parody the president." Griffin's lawyer explained that the photo was designed to make fun of Trump's comments he made about Megyn Kelly when he told CNN during his presidential campaign that she had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever." Bloom added that Griffin "never imagined" that people would see the

Incorporated Season 1 Episode 1 Review: Vertical Mobility

Stop me if you've heard this one before: In a world where evil corporations rule a future dystopian Earth, an ordinary man fights to find the one he loves against insurmountable odds!

Yeah, sounds Very familiar. That basically sums up Incorporated Season 1 Episode 1, and that's not a good thing.

The "Evil Corporation" trope is tired and worn out, but it keeps cropping up like a bad penny. From Rollerball, Soylent Green, Robocop, the Alien films, Elysium, and Snowpiercer, the list goes on and on.

Sci fi has always been, at it's best, a drastic take on our societal fears, going all the way back to the 1950's nuke mutated bug movies to today's fear of technology shows like Black Mirror.

The devil, as they say, is in the details. It's an old show pony, but if the story is well done, then we can at least enjoy a new take on the same old,

Talk about wish fulfillment. Aaron Paul, who starred in AMC's Breaking Bad- considered by many to be one of the finest TV shows ever produced- has had a dream role in mind for quite sometime. You have also heard about how it's taken forever for everything to come together, with several studios, writers, directors, and actors coming and going from the ambitious project. What you may not know, is that Paul is something of a super fan, and he's been lobbying for the role of Eddie Dean in the book. A new report claims that Paul may have finally snagged his dream gig.

If true, this would be the end of an odyssey that began back in 2012 when Paul made his intentions very clear:

Yolanda Foster Is Really Sick in the Rhobh Premiere And Lisa & Ken Can't Stop Talking About How Bad She Looks

Yolanda Foster Is Really Sick in the Rhobh Premiere And Lisa & Ken Can't Stop Talking About How Bad She Looks
With friends like these, Yolanda Foster certainly doesn't need any enemies. The new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicked off tonight with the (sadly, soon-to-be divorced) Yolanda still in the throes of debilitating illness thanks to lyme disease diagnosis three years ago and to see her in such a diminished capacity was, well, shocking. She revealed that she hadn't driven a car in three years. She barely leaves her house. She can hardly sit through twenty minutes of Lisa Rinna's birthday dinner. She admits, "Trust me, if it wasn't for my kids, I would've jumped off the balcony already." Even more shocking? The way co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd spoke...

Euclidean Review

Part of the appeal of indulging in art and entertainment is offering your own interpretation on the subjects, themes and underlying concepts. That may sound pretentious, but I stand by my statement. In movies, books and video games, it’s not uncommon for the creators to slip in hidden meanings that aren’t obvious at a cursory glance.

I’m not necessarily talking about high-end culture, either. Even Mario has its fair share of theories and fan readings. Concepts that are bizarre and abstract – such as the world Mario inhabits – are rife for interpretation, but we often oversee them in favour of a narrative that’s relatively straightforward. The 8-bit plumber may spend a large portion of his life diving into giant pipes and giving anthropomorphic mushrooms a concussion, but we know his motives, so we just go along with it.

When it comes to abstract concepts and scope for interpretation,

Juju Review

There’s no denying that platformers have played a major role in gaming history, but it’s also true that good ones are few and far between. That’s especially true these days, where first-person shooters and large scale action-adventure games have stolen the limelight from the genre that Mario defined. Perhaps it’s because it’s so hard to make a great one, what with the need for precise controls, near flawless jumping mechanics and a unique draw to set it apart from the many others out there. Or, maybe it’s just a sign of the times.

Like Nintendo and Ubisoft, to an extent, Flying Wild Hog and Nordic Games aren’t willing to let the sidescrolling dream die. Their latest — a PS3, Xbox 360 and PC digital download bearing the strange name of Juju — harkens back to the platformers of yesteryear, while mixing together mechanics that borrow from both the past and present.

Tell Me Your Favorite Horror Film and Why and Win a One Year Subscription to Fandor!

Back in April, for twelve weeks straight, I reviewed a different Werner Herzog movie as they came available on the streaming service . Now the site is preparing for Halloween with a very special release of Kino Lorber's new 4K restoration of Robert Wiene's classic horror thriller The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari exclusively on the site beginning Halloween. And on that day (October 31st), and for one day only, the film will be available to everyone, even if you do not have a Fandor subscription! However, I have a special gift for one (1) lucky reader, a one (1) year subscription to and beyond the Herzog titles and the release of Caligari there is a lot more to explore. For example, also in celebration of Halloween, the site has George A. Romero's 1698 zombie classic Night of the Living Dead as well as Romero's original 1973 feature The Crazies.
