Darth Maul's Complete Story After Star Wars: Episode I

Darth Maul's Complete Story After Star Wars: Episode I
No matter where you stand on the Star Wars prequels, we can all agree that Darth Maul is fantastic. With his aggressive acrobatic fighting style, double bladed lightsaber, and face ink, the Sith Lord stole much of the show in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. His story felt unmercifully cut short (*ahem) by Jedi Knight in training Obi-Wan Kenobi. But did you know the most famous son of Dathomir actually lived on in Star Wars canon, before his final defeat in the sands of Tatooine?

Don't have time to sort through all of the novels, comic books, and episodes of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels? Don't worry, we're exploring what happened to the Sith apprentice following his vivisection at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Before delving into how Darth Maul survived getting chopped in half and what became of him afterward, first we should tell you a

Now, a new excerpt from the book has been released, previewing Jon Hamm's performance.

USA Today revealed the clip, which comes from the story titled Added Muscle. This particular story was written by Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series). Jon Hamm To Voice Boba Fett In ‘Star Wars’ Audiobook

There are few characters that have achieved the same level of cult mystique as Boba Fett. The mysterious bounty hunter from the original trilogy has been fleshed out in the following decades, given some backstory in the “Star Wars” prequels, and even more narrative space to play in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Rumors are ongoing that Lucasfilm will eventually give the beloved character his own spinoff movie, but for now, you’ll have to appreciate him in non-cinematic mediums.

Pop Cult Corner – Star Wars Characters Who Need To Return and Oscar Outsiders

Welcome to this edition of Pop Cult Corner, the place that gives insights into the news of the week, makes outlandish predictions and above all, probably has too many opinions.

This week, two news stories stood out to me. One of them is of course the most obvious, as it has dominated headlines and conversations all week. The other is perhaps a bit early to be talking about but it certainly hasn’t stopped some studios jumping the gun. I will of course be talking about Star Wars: Episode IX with the new release date it has secured and the new directer in the form of Star Wars: The Force AwakensJ.J. Abrams, and I shall also be talking about the Oscars (I know, I said it was early!)

But first, before I start talking a bit more about Star Wars, I wanted to bring up this gem of a

The Big Difference Between First Order and Imperial Stormtroopers

The Big Difference Between First Order and Imperial Stormtroopers
When The Force Awakens hit theaters in 2015, it brought along a new kind of Stormtrooper. The armor, while retaining the classic look from the 1977 original Star Wars, had been given an upgrade, they appeared to be the same old Troopers. And they still couldn't hit a target to save their life. Some complained that they looked like they'd been manufactured by Apple. But these iTroopers aren't just wearing slightly modified chest protectors. There is a big difference in the way they act, as well. Some might say they've been given a Millennial twist. But Millennials would never say that, cause they hate that term and being labeled. There lies your answer. These Stormtroopers are individuals. As we've clearly noticed with the Awol Finn, who has since become a big deal in the Resistance. Now, we have a better understanding of the mindset behind these soldiers who work exclusively for Supreme Leader Snoke.

And a nasty pimp at that. We're not kidding when it comes to the fact that Snoke is a major force in Star Wars: The Last Jedi whether he has limited screen time or not.

First up, we have a look at Snoke's Mega Star Destroyer. And this thing is a beast. The image comes to us courtesy of Sphero's new app for its remote control Star Wars astromechs. The

What's Really Happening with Yoda in The Last Jedi?
For a long while now, we've heard that Yoda returns in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. There were rampant rumors that Frank Oz was spotted on the Ahch-To set of this sequel, that he's done a voice over while others controlled a practically puppet as opposed to CGI. And there were Yoda statues spotted on various sets. Now a new Star Wars toy all but confirms his presence. But the big take away here is that Yoda will not be appearing as a Force Ghost in Star Wars 8.

When movie fans last saw Yoda, he was heading into his own exile in 2005's Revenge of the Sith. But we all know he wound up on Dagobah, where he trained Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Jedi, before passing away in his bed. At the end of Return of the Jedi, he is seen standing next to Obi-Wan Kenobi and
