Terry Crews Takes His Sexual Assault Claim to the Lapd
Early last month, Brooklyn Nine Nine actor Terry Crews shared his own experience of sexual assault in Hollywood and now the actor has doubled down and filed a police report with the Lapd. Crews revealed that he had his genitals fondled by a high-level Hollywood executive in front of the actor's wife. Crews' disclosure via Twitter came a few days after the New York Times and New Yorker reported explosive revelations of sexual harassment and assault allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein dating back decades. Since, then more and more powerful men in entertainment have been accused as well.

Sources close to Terry Crews say that the man in question was Wme's Adam Venit, which lines up since Wme just announced that Venit is on leave. Venit is now on leave from William Morris Endeavor pending a company probe into the claims. Among those he represents are director Brett Ratner

Terry Crews Files Police Report After Alleging He Was Sexually Assaulted by a Hollywood Executive
Terry Crews is getting the law involved.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells Et that the 49-year-old actor filed a police report on Wednesday.

"Terry Crews filed a police report and is the victim in that report," said the spokesperson, who further noted that the investigation will be handled by the Robbery Homicide Division, which oversees high-profile cases that come through the Lapd.

According to TMZ, Crews is alleging in the report that he was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood executive.

Last month on Twitter, the former Brooklyn Nine-Nine star claimed that a "a high-level Hollywood executive" came over to him and his wife, Rebecca, at a Hollywood function last year and "groped" his privates.

In the face of allegations of sexual misconduct spanning decades, disgraced Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein checked himself into a luxury resort in Arizona earlier this month for treatment. And now, a spokesperson for Weinstein tells People that he will remain in treatment for at least one month.

“Mr. Weinstein is receiving in-patient as well as outpatient medical treatment for the next month or so,” the spokesperson said.

The news comes after sources told People Weinstein has been defiant to change during his stay at the five-star hotel, which boasts a spa and golf course and allows him to use his cell phone.

The actress said she never worked with Weinstein again after the alleged incident.

Smoke and Mirrors: CBS Producing New Crime Drama

CBS is getting in on crime. Only a day after news broke that CBS is developing a police procedural from Brian Burns, Deadline reports the network is developing another crime drama with female lead.

Titled Smoke & Mirrors, the show follows a "mysterious detective in the Lapd Robbery Homicide Division, a contemporary Houdini-like character who uses her knowledge of deception and misdirection to solve seemingly impossible crimes committed by criminal masterminds."

The pilot comes from Marc Webb, executive producer of CBS' Limitless and The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and writer Dave Kalstein.
