“Everyone is sending me this” tweeted the actor, late of such classics as “Tommy Boy” and “Black Sheep.” That’s all he said on the matter, leaving us all to wonder whether he’s amused, weirded out, or perhaps some combination of the two; Cobain quoted the line in his suicide note, after all, which Young found quite upsetting. The mural is painted on the side of a building in Linz, Austria, suggesting
The Sweet Valley High alum Brittany Daniel and her boyfriend Adam Touni have tied the knot, People confirms.
“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and affection shared by our friends and family on this special day,” the couple said in a statement to People. “We are so grateful to have this kind of support as we start this journey together.”

“#engagement #christmas #love #proposal #marinheadlands #family @adam.touni.”

Dog Eat Dog (Paul Schrader)
Paul Schrader might want to consider expanding his thematic scope a little. Decade after decade, film after film, regardless of whether he’s been writing scripts for others (Martin Scorsese, first and foremost), or sitting in the director’s chair himself, the erstwhile Calvinist has come back to the theme of redemption with obstinate persistence. His protagonists are almost always men, they’re almost

The original Joe Dirt became something of a cult classic on DVD, even moreso in our household where it gets watched at least every other month… For some reason that underdog tale of a man beaten down by life but refusing to take it, living everday to its potential really struck a chord. But the same can’t be said for the sequel, which is essentially a parody of It’s a Wonderful Life, making a mockery of the first film and the character, in a movie that feels like it was made more for the cast to have fun and work than for the audience to enjoy.
Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser picks up
Kino Lorber is reviving another cult classic on Tuesday too—The Oblong Box—which is based on the Edgar Allan Poe tale and co-stars two cinematic legends, Vincent Price and Christopher Lee. This comedy features Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek as the Teagartens. They are not only drunk with love for their daughter, but also literally drunk the night after dropping her off at college, leading to a bad decision, a kidnapping, and a serious case of mistaken identity. Simultaneously moving and uproariously funny,
