If I were to tell you that the Borg are about to enter Kirk and Co.’s universe, you’d quite possible have two sensations, as I did – the first being excitement for seeing the Borg and Kirk go toe-to-toe and secondly have a sense of dread knowing the power of the Borg is about to be diluted – once again – for the sake of a quick grab of cash and fan baiting. Well would you be interested to read that in this issue Kirk doesn’t physically go toe-to-toe with the Borg and I also don’t feel – in anyway – that the Borg have been watered down; if anything John Byrne has given them back a boost of power and mystery.

• Peter Bradshaw's review of Turbo
• Watch the Ender's Game trailer
Following a session that saw the lowest grosses of any weekend in 2013 so far, box office has bounced back, thanks to the arrival at last of some commercially strong new product. Both Turbo and Captain Phillips delivered numbers north of £3m. The last time a film – any film, let alone two at once – managed a £3m-plus session was back in late August with the arrival of One Direction: This Is Us.
In the official chart, DreamWorks Animation's Turbo grabs the top spot with £3.89m, boosted by £1.77m in previews. That number compares unfavourably with the previous effort from the company, The Croods, which kicked off with £5.37m including £1.85m in previews back in March. Turbo's result

That same day he added, “Education Is Rebellion,” and “If Newborn Babies Could Speak They Would Be The Most Intelligent Beings On Planet Earth.”
Well, tell us how you really feel, Jaden!

The last time that Katie Couric publicly spoke to Lil Wayne was 4 years ago for a televised Grammy special, and since then, he has suffered multiple seizures in 2013. Katie asked him what caused his seizures and what can stop them from happening again.
“Dehydration, working too much and no sleep,” he replied. “Im sort of epileptic, so we had to go back in history to my past and see why this happened. My
A solid portion of those aforementioned interesting people happen to be movie directors, but for whatever reason, films about filmmakers haven’t had too much success in the past. Take last year, for example. Two separate Alfred Hitchcock films were released: HBO’s The Girl and Sacha Gervasi’s Hitchcock. The former was panned by critics, but managed to get a Golden Globe nomination, while the latter received mixed reviews, and was ultimately considered a huge disappointment.
That being said, I think we’re all due for a truly great biopic revolving around a deserving director: he’s 10 we think would make for some seriously great cinema.

Last week, production photos from the set of The Wolverine hit the internet (before they were taken down) featuring what looked like a World War II prison camp. Today, there’s a set video – courtesy of Autralia’s 7News – featruing the very same thing.
There’s very little footage of the set itself, but near the end of the above clip, you can vaguely make out a bunch of shirtless soldiers running as fast as they can – possibly as part of a prison break?
