Frankenstein's Monster celebrated it's 200th anniversary of the birth of the horror icon on June 16, 2016. Mary Shelley while summering in Lake Geneva, Switzerland was part of a writer's group. Lord Byron issued a challenge to each to write a ghost story to tell the others for fun. She conceived of the character and story, during a waking dream in the early hours of June 16, 1816.
