Hugh Jackman said goodbye to Wolverine with “tears” in his eyes

Hugh Jackman has commented on the emotions he felt when saying goodbye to Wolverine.

This year Hugh Jackman finally said goodbye to the character Wolverine, giving his final performance as the mutant in the critically acclaimed Logan.

The actor had portrayed the fan favourite X-Man for 17 years so it was no easy thing to do. In an interview with Variety, Jackman touched on this, explaining how he felt and the regret he has.

“I wish I’d started playing him like that 17 years ago,” Jackman said. “So there’s some sense of missed opportunity, but when I saw Logan, I sat there and I did have tears in my eyes. The main feeling I had was: “There, that’s the character. I feel like I’ve done it now.” And I was calm and at peace, but I’m going to miss that guy.”

The Predator Test Screening Reactions: Is It Good or Bad?

The Predator Test Screening Reactions: Is It Good or Bad?
It sounds like the first reactions to Shane Black's The Predator are in and they're incredibly divided. Fox reportedly starting holding test screenings of the highly-anticipated movie last week and, though people who get into these test screenings generally have to sign some form of non-disclosure agreement, some reactions have leaked online. Some fans reportedly love the new, very comedic take on the franchise, while others absolutely hate it and warn to "avoid it at all costs."

The reactions come to us via YouTuber Mr. H, who has been covering The Predator pretty closely. He's reportedly managed to dig up some reactions from those who attended one of the test screenings and there doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground. Those who saw the movie either love Shane Black's very different approach, or they really hated it. Looks like we could have a divisive movie on our hands,

Thomas Jane discusses the plot of The Predator

The story of Shane Black’s upcoming The Predator has been pretty short on details up to this point. All we really know about the film is that it takes place in a suburban area as a group of soldiers try to take down the new Predator. Now, however, star Thomas Jane (The Expanse) appeared on the Shadow Nation podcast and revealed a lot of details on his and the other soldier’s backstories.

“We play these veterans from like Afghanistan, Iraq war or whatever,” Jane said. “But we’re all fucking crazy so we go to the Va hospital to get our meds. We’re all like shellshocked, Ptsd… soldiers. We’re at the Va hospital and we’re in group therapy and of course, somebody flips out…this is backstory, I don’t think we really see this…somebody flips out and we all get arrested and get

New Story Details For The Predator Point To A UFO Conspiracy

The Predator may be one of the fiercest (and ugliest!) movie monsters in film history, but come 2018, a ragtag squad of jaded, shellshocked soldiers will be primed and ready to exterminate the extra-terrestrial threats when they arrive on our doorsteps. And that’s threats plural.

For in Shane Black’s sci-fi reboot, a number of hunter-aliens descend upon a suburban setting to begin their killing spree. But it looks like they’re about to meet a strong and, crucially, human resistance. As Thomas Jane revealed to Shadow Nation (via Bloody Disgusting), The Predator chronicles the story of war veterans pulled into a brutal, interspecies brawl, while there also appears to be elements of a UFO conspiracy thrown in for good measure.

In fact, as Jane alludes to below, those soldiers quickly take matters into their own hands once shit hits the fan:

We play these veterans from like Afghanistan, Iraq war or whatever.

Updates on the production have been few and far between, though, which is why we’re happy to report today that we now have a brand new motion poster for you to feast your eyes on. Granted, it’s not much and doesn’t actually show us anything from the film itself, but it’s a striking piece of promotional material nonetheless.

If it’s plot details you’re after, you’ll have to look elsewhere, or just hang tight, but

Lightning Strikes in First Animated Artwork for Shane Black’s The Predator

  • DailyDead
In the summer of 2018, one of the galaxy's most feared hunters will return to the big screen with the release of Shane Black's The Predator. Although details on the film have been relatively quiet as of late, 20th Century Fox broke the silence today by officially releasing the first animated artwork for the new movie in a stormy motion poster.

Released on the Predator Official Fan App (after making an appearance at the London licensing expo), the new animated artwork can be viewed below. While an official synopsis has yet to be released, the lightning formation of a Predator's head above a city seems to indicate a well-populated setting for the new installment of the Predator franchise.

Slated for an August 3rd, 2018 release from 20th Century Fox, The Predator was directed by Black, who co-starred as the wisecracking Rick Hawkins in 1987's Predator. Black worked from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker,
