The Strangers: Prey At Night Secures R-Rating

It’s official: The Strangers: Prey at Night has received an R-rating this week from the MPAA for “horror violence and terror throughout, and for language.” Not that this should surprise anyone, mind you, given the content of the film and the fact that the original was also rated R, but it is nice to hear nonetheless. After all, in an age where so many horror movies are watered down for mass consumption, it’s exciting to see that they won’t be holding back here.

Set for a release on March 9th, this new effort will act as a soft reboot for the series, given that it’s made room for Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman and Martin Henderson, who play a family on a road trip. Unfortunately, though, things don’t go so well for them, as three dangerous psychos – Emma Bellomy as Dollface, Lea Enslin as

Following the release of the new poster last month, Aviron Pictures has released a new trailer for The Strangers: Prey at Night, which is released in cinemas on March 9th 2018.

Directed by Johannes Roberts (F, The Other Side of the Door), The Strangers: Prey at Night is inspired by the 2008 smash hit The Strangers (itself inspired by the real life “Keddie Murders” – also seen in the film Cabin 28) and stars Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison and Lewis Pullman.

A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive…

Strangers: Prey at Night Trailer #2 Brings Masked Maniacs Out of Hiding

The masked killers are back in a brand new trailer for Strangers: Prey at Night. The original Strangers was released nearly a decade ago and, despite being a financial success, never managed to get a sequel going. That all changes very soon, as The Strangers 2 is coming our way on March 9, 2018. Now, Aviron Pictures has released a brand new, full-length trailer for the horror sequel that doubles down on the tension.

This new trailer for The Strangers: Prey At Night is probably everything that fans of the original could hope for. It keeps the premise familiar enough, with three very unsettling murderers wearing masks terrorizing an unsuspecting group of people. Yet, this time, it's an entire family in a very different setting at a secluded trailer park. As for the footage itself? It's pretty slick and incredibly intense. There's a creaky swing set, which is always a sign of bad

New Full-Length Trailer for Horror Sequel 'The Strangers: Prey at Night'

"I think we're alone now..." Aviron Pictures has launched the full-length official trailer for the new horror spin-off/sequel titled The Strangers: Prey at Night. So instead of actually making a direct sequel to cult horror hit The Strangers (directed by Bryan Bertino in 2008), they went off and decided to make this new "inspired by" film, which is being referred to as the sequel. This one follows a family staying in a secluded mobile home park for a night, who are visited by three masked psychopaths. So the same masked weirdos are back, but a different time/place, of course. The film's key cast includes Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison, and Lewis Pullman. This looks obviously very creepy but doesn't seem to be that exciting or scary in any unique ways, perhaps I'm just missing something. Check it out for yourself. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Johannes Roberts

New Trailer For The Strangers: Prey At Night - "You Can Run, You Can Hide, or You Can Fight Like Hell!"

A new trailer has been released for the murderous horror thriller The Strangers: Prey at Night, which is the long-awaited sequel to the 2008 horror movie The Strangers. The three masked killers from the first film return to wreak havoc on a family.

I thought the first film was great and I hope that this sequel will at least be just as good. I like the tone of this new trailer, but we'll just have to wait and see how the movie turns out.

The Strangers: Prey at Night Brings More Masked Terror in these Two Stills

Tagline: "Let Us Prey." A couple of new stills have been released for the second The Strangers film. The first film released in 2008. The Strangers: Prey at Night, which has been influenced by the first film, is set for a March theatrical release. The two stills show more characters, one played by Christina Hendricks and the other by Bailee Madison. A masked villain turns up, while more terror lays just around the corner. As well, a second poster has been released and it can be found here. Bryan Bertino wrote and directed the first film, based on some of his real life experiences. In this second film, Bertino has written the script, with Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) directing. The Strangers: Prey at Night does look like a decent chiller, with more details coming soon as the film reaches its March 9th release date. Release Date: March 9th, 2018 (Theatrical). Director: Johannes Roberts.

21 Movie Sequels You Can't Miss in 2018

21 Movie Sequels You Can't Miss in 2018
Hollywood is currently a big fan of making sequels and 2018 isn't going to see that trend slow down. Not in the slightest bit. Some of the biggest franchises on the planet are going to be getting new installments over the next year, with others entering into sequel territory for the first time. No matter what the case, there are plenty of sequels to look forward to over the next 12 months.

Just like in 2017, the sequels coming out in 2018 absolutely offer something for everyone. There are plenty of horror offerings, superhero showdowns and family-friendly affairs coming out throughout the entire year that makes it so you'll hardly have a weekend at the movies without a big sequel arriving. At one point in time, a sequel was something of a rare event, relatively speaking. That is no longer the case.

There are certainly plenty of very promising sequels coming in 2018, but we

Cher, Mandy Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and More Celebs React to SoCal Wildfires

As Southern California continues to be engulfed by a series of wildfires that have forced the mandatory evacuation of thousands, celebrities are leaving their multimillion-dollar homes to seek safety.

Since Monday, at least 180 structures have been destroyed by raging wildfires across Los Angeles and Ventura County. More than 65,000 acres have burned so far, and L.A.’s notoriously traffic-dense freeways have been clogged with cars as residents evacuate and city officials close routes due to the proximity of the flames. More than 1,700 firefighters are on duty in Ventura County to contain the flames, but many aren’t able to enter

Strangers: Prey at Night Ruins a Family Road Trip in this First Trailer

Tagline: "Never Underestimate the Kindness of Strangers." The first Strangers film was released in 2008. It has been nine years since Bryan Bertino brought the original film to screen. This time, Bertino has scripted an "inspired by" follow-up. As well, Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) has directed this latest feature, in the series. Notably, Christina Hendricks ("Mad Men") and Bailee Madison star. And, the first trailer, for Strangers: Prey at Night, is hosted here - along with the film's early poster. The synopsis mentions a mobile home park and a family road trip. The trailer shows that trailer park, mostly abandoned. Meanwhile, three familiar, masked psychopaths return in this feature. Everyone struggles to survive into the third film. Both The Strangers and this title have been influenced by true events. The "based on a true story" is not just a rubber stamp this time around. The two stories have been drawn from
