Et talked to Fergie, host of Fox's upcoming reality competition music show, about her plans for the new gig, which she mentions will probably include seeing a lot of her adorable 4-year-old son, Axl.

"I want to have Axl running around here," the 42-year-old singer told Et. "He's going to want to get up on that stage, all those lights -- he's going to think he's at an amusement park."

"He loves coming to my work because there's a lot of pomp and circumstance," Fergie explained.

No surprises there! As we've seen on her Instagram, Fergie and Axl make quite the mother-son duo.

Latin artists continue to dominate the music scene this year. In the recent weeks, Latinos have ranked among the top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and inspired English-speaking artists to break out their Spanish-speaking skills for high-profile collaborations. Vevo and YouTube announced on Dec. 6 and Dec. 5, respectively that Latin performers are among the highest ranked on lists for the most music video views.

Apple unveiled its charts ranking the most popular movies, TV shows, music, apps, books and podcasts in the U.S. for 2017 — with both new and familiar faces in the world of media and entertainment.

The No. 1 movie of the year on Apple’s iTunes was Disney’s “Moana,” followed by Disney/Lucafilm’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and Warner Bros. “Wonder Woman.”

In TV, perennial favorites HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” were the top three programs. New series charting in 2017 included HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” NBC’s “This Is Us,” PBS’s “Victoria” and FX’s “The Americans.”

Fergie is taking her star power to TV!

The 42-year-old pop star will host Fox's new music competition series The Four: Battle for Stardom, which is set to premiere on Thursday, Jan. 4. Fergie will join the show's panel of experts Sean “Diddy” Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and record label executive Charlie Walk.
