Mark Millar teases a big Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl announcement

Comic book writer Mark Millar has taken to Twitter to tease a big announcement concerning the characters of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, complete with an image of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz in character.

Right, this brilliance won't write itself. Time to help get a press release together for the big Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl news next week… pic.twitter.com/Z2hxrTgt4B

Mark Millar (@mrmarkmillar) November 9, 2017

Naturally, the assumption here is that we could be getting a third instalment of the movie series, which was originally planned before Kick-Ass 2 opened to mixed reviews and an underwhelming box office back in 2013.

Millar has recently sold his company Millarworld to Netflix, so it’s possible that the streaming giant could be looking to produce a new movie or TV adaptation. However, as Millar states, we should get an official announcement this coming week.

Would you like to see a third Kick-Ass movie?

Proof David and Brooklyn Beckham Are Fashion Twins

Proof David and Brooklyn Beckham Are Fashion Twins
Like father, like son, right? When you're referring to the style of David Beckham and his son Brooklyn Beckham, the answer is clearly yes. Camouflage print, beanies, matching T-shirts—these two have more in common than just blood. While most teenagers mostly don't want their style to be compared to their parent's, when your mom is a pop-star-turned-fashion-designer and your father is a retired pro athlete whose style ages like fine wine, you may want to take a few notes out of their book. Brooklyn, the 18-year-old dating Chloe Grace Moretz, has taken more than a few notes. If it wasn't for his age, you may mistake him from David's brother with their style similarities. ...

Louis C.K. Gets Fired from Secret Life of Pets 2
Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have announced they are cutting ties with controversial comedian Louis C.K., who will not be returning for the animated sequel The Secret Life of Pets 2. The move comes in the wake of a New York Times report where five women came forward and revealed that the beloved comedian either masturbated in front of them, or during phone conversations. In a surprising move, Louis C.K. admitted these stories were true in an impassioned statement earlier today, which has lead to an exodus of sorts, with networks, studios, production companies and even his publicists cutting ties with the comedian.

In the original animated hit The Secret Life of Pets, Louis C.K. provided the voice of Max, a beloved Jack Russell Terrier dog who was the main protagonist in the story, who had been expected to return but will no longer do so. It isn't known if the

The Inconceivable Question of Why Louis C.K. Would Make 'I Love You, Daddy' in the First Place

The Inconceivable Question of Why Louis C.K. Would Make 'I Love You, Daddy' in the First Place
On Thursday, The Orchard announced it would be "giving careful consideration" to the release of Louis C.K.'s film, I Love You, Daddy, in the wake of allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian. It took less than 24 hours of consideration for the distributor to scrap it altogether. Sure, you could do like Ridley Scott and recast C.K. with Christopher Plummer, but Plummer can't rewrite and reshoot the entire movie, too.

That the movie should never see the light of day is only a shame for one reason: the actresses, especially -- Chloë Grace Moretz, Edie Falco, Pamela Adlon, Rose Byrne -- give great performances. But also, there is no reason this movie ever should have happened. Considering C.K. is (or was) one of the most successful working standups and a six-time Emmy winner still extolled for his series, Louie, he seemingly could have made any movie he wanted. (Considering he self-funded

Are Kick-Ass 3 And A Hit Girl Spinoff Coming To Netflix?

Despite positive reviews and a decent box office take for 2010’s Kick-Ass, the once-burgeoning film franchise appears to be on the backburner following the 2013 sequel, which was met with far less praise and diminished box office returns.

Original director Matthew Vaughn has been keen on more follow-ups though and even spoke about doing a prequel focused on Chloe Grace Moretz’s Hit-Girl and Nicolas Cage’s Big Daddy, but additional tales about the hyper-violent street-level superheroes have hardly seemed likely, especially with stars Grace Moretz and Aaron Taylor-Johnson growing older and moving on to other film properties.

However, there still may be hope. Chalk this up as speculation for now, but we do have reason to believe that both a Kick-Ass 3 and a spinoff movie featuring Hit-Girl may be on their way to Netflix. Why do we think that? Well, as you surely know by now, Mark Millar (who created
