Camila Cabello, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots Perform
Who knew classroom instruments could make a song even better? Camila Cabello appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Wednesday, where she performed her smash hit "Havana," using a lemon shaker as a prop. The Roots got into it, too, with Tuba Gooding Jr. playing the Kazoo and using an orange shaker, Kamal Gray playing the xylophone, Mark Kelley playing the kazoo, Captain Kirk strumming the ukulele, James Poyser playing the melodica, Questlove using hand clappers, Stro banging the bongos and Black Thought playing the triangle. "Havana" is currently at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. ...

Tim McGraw Met His Daughter's Date in a Bloody Apron While Holding a Knife, Talks First Meeting Faith Hill

Tim McGraw Met His Daughter's Date in a Bloody Apron While Holding a Knife, Talks First Meeting Faith Hill
Tim McGraw isn't playing when it comes to his daughters!

Tim and his wife, Faith Hill, have three daughters together -- Audrey, 15, Maggie, 19, and Gracie, 20 -- and while two are grown and on their own, the couple admitted on Thursday's Tonight Show that they're still protective parents. In fact, when their eldest daughter, Gracie, went on her first date with a new guy, Tim did a background check on the potential suitor.

"We put our secret service guys on it, they checked it out, everything's good," he joked, adding that he asked Gracie to bring the guy by the house the day after their date.

"The next morning we're doing a barbecue. I'm in the kitchen and I forget that he's coming," Tim explained. "I have a white apron on and a knife and I'm trimming meat up, so I've got chunks of meat all over this apron, blood everywhere."

"The doorbell rings and

Watch Fallon, Roots Recreate Cheesy 'Tgif' Sitcoms on 'Tonight Show'
In the late Eighties/early Nineties, two essential ingredients for a popular sitcom were a peppy theme song and stilted title credits where characters stare at the camera. With "Tgif" nostalgia in full bloom thanks to Netflix's Fuller House revival, The Tonight Show created their own hilarious intro sequence with help from Jesse Frederick, who wrote and performed the themes to Full House, Step By Step and Family Matters

New on Video: ‘El Dorado’

El Dorado

Written by Leigh Brackett

Directed by Howard Hawks

USA, 1966

When El Dorado was first shown in 1966, the Western in its classical form was beginning to disappear from American cinema. John Ford, synonymous with the genre, released his last feature that year, and El Dorado would be the second-to-last film by its own legendary director, Howard Hawks. The Western was evolving and its old masters were giving way to modern innovators. The stylishly self-conscious films of Sergio Leone first signaled the shift (the films of his “Dollars Trilogy” came out in 1964-1966), and it was certified by the critical, ominous, and violent The Wild Bunch, directed by Sam Peckinpah in 1969. Hawks decried the slow-motion bloodletting of Peckinpah. He argued that he could kill four men, get them to the morgue, and bury them before this newcomer could get one on the ground.

With this as the context of its gestation,

Jimmy Fallon Is Right at Home on 'The Tonight Show'

Jimmy Fallon Is Right at Home on 'The Tonight Show'
Other than a revamped studio, a Spike Lee-directed opening sequence and a jazzy, funkified new theme song, the debut episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon bore a striking resemblance to its recently concluded Late Night incarnation. And why shouldn't it? So much of what made Late Night With Jimmy Fallon such a success was the 39-year-old host's sheer enjoyment of every facet of his job – and a happy Jimmy Fallon is a New York Jimmy Fallon. For the first time in 42 years, The Tonight Show has returned to its original home base,

Jimmy Fallon, the Roots, and its residents tell you how to get to Sesame Street -- Video
Warning: The following video will make you grin uncontrollably.

Late Night’s occasional “classroom instruments” videos — in which Jimmy Fallon, the Roots, and special guests perform popular songs accompanied only by woodblocks, toy xylophones, and the like — are generally pretty great. For pure joy value, though, none of the previous clips can compare to this one — which features Fallon and his band performing Sesame Street’s theme song with Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, and the rest of that show’s principal cast of muppets.

They’re counted in by The Count. Partway through, Cookie Monster devours his instrument. The Roots

Watch: Fallon's Latest Thank You Notes

  • Aol TV.
It wouldn't be a proper episode of "Thank You Notes" if Jimmy didn't try to crack up Roots-keyboardist James Poyser at the beginning, or if Jimmy and announcer Steve Higgins didn't try to one-up each other tagging out a joke. It's the little things that make these segments so fun.

This edition delivered both, in addition to some great gags about LL Cool J, TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and No Smoking signs on planes.

Manchester, Tennessee — Questlove always has a few tricks up his sleeve, and the Roots drummer saved his one of his biggest stunts in recent history for Saturday night's "Superjam" session at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Just a couple hours after the Roots finished their own set on the festival's main stage, D'Angelo joined Questlove for his first U.S. performance in over a decade.

The Superjam session (billed as "?uestlove with very special guests") didn't kick off until well after midnight at "This Tent," and Quest wasn't on the stage for long before he proudly introduced the legendary R&B singer to the crowd, telling them, "I've been waiting 12 years to say this: Ladies and gentleman, D'Angelo!"
