Young will be joining the previously announced cast of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Charlie Hunnam, and Giovanni Ribisi.

Fresh Gallery Of Concept Art For Avengers: Age Of Ultron Is All About The Villains

Before Avengers: Infinity War arrives to redraw the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, it’s important to take a moment and remember how far we’ve come.

Take Age of Ultron as an example. Initially released back in 2015, the Joss Whedon sequel forced Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into a messy conflict with Ultron, James Spader’s malevolent A.I. that threatened to turn the fictional nation of Sokovia into an immense planet killer.

Thankfully, Spader’s self-propelled doomsday machine was stopped in the nick of time – at the expense of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver, sadly – and the Avengers went their separate ways. But now that an Infinity War is afoot, Comic Book Movie has today rolled out a massive gallery of concept art focusing on the villains of Age of Ultron.

It’s by no means the first time that Joss Whedon’s follow-up has been ushered into

Stunning Concept Art For Age Of Ultron Paints The Avengers In A Very Different Light

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are ready for their respective close-ups in this newly-unveiled gallery of concept art for Age of Ultron.

Coming to us by way of Cbm, this is perhaps the definitive showcase of Joss Whedon’s superpowered sequel, which initially placed the Avengers on a collision course with James Spader’s malevolent A.I., Ultron, in 2015, back when the McU was still in the throes of Phase 2.

Fast forward to 2018, and Marvel Studios is now bracing for three of the biggest films in superhero history: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Peyton Reed’s caper sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is expected to bring some welcome comic relief in July.

For now, though, Marvel fans have been treated to a visual breakdown of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which includes concept art for many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – namely Black Widow, Vision, Cap and more! – along with

The Last Word on ‘Nocturnal Animals’

The first five minutes of ‘Nocturnal Animals‘ begins with an opening credits sequence involving several rotund, garish and grotesque naked women, celebratory dancing around with such items as fireworks and pom-poms, along with a chin-strapped patriotic hat, as their bodies are on display, showcasing their gigantic breasts flopping in all directions on top of their bigger, muffintop midsections that flop around in even more directions. It’s-, well, it’s an eye-opener to say the least. It turns out, these women are apart of a performance art piece at a museum, but so, thankfully, there’s an in-universe reason for them, I guess. (Shrugs)

Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what to make of ‘Nocturnal Animals‘. It’s one of those movies that I suspect, overall, is more about emotion than it is, the actual events of the movie. Of course, the only real actual events of the movie, is

Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Juri and Charlie Hunnam join Sam Taylor-Johnson’s A Million Little Pieces

Back in October it was announced that Fifty Shades of Grey helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson will be directing her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson in a feature adaptation of James Frey’s bestselling book A Million Little Pieces, and now Deadline brings word that Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa 2), Carla Juri (Blade Runner 2049) and Charlie Hunnam (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) have joined the film.

Loosely based on Frey’s life (and published as a memoir rather than a novel, leading to much controversy), A Million Little Pieces tells of his rehabilitation from drug and alcohol abuse. Taylor-Johnson is set to portray the protagonist, with Thornton as Leonard, his guardian angel at a rehab facility, with Juri as the female lead. Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar) is also on board.

Filming on A Million Pieces is set to get underway this coming week, and is being financed by Makeready, a new independent

2018 SAG Awards Best Supporting Actor showdown: Willem Dafoe (‘The Florida Project’) vs. Sam Rockwell (‘Three Billboards’)

2018 SAG Awards Best Supporting Actor showdown: Willem Dafoe (‘The Florida Project’) vs. Sam Rockwell (‘Three Billboards’)
Willem Dafoe has won a whopping 18 Best Supporting Actor awards from various critics groups for his heartbreaking performance in “The Florida Project.” He was the frontrunner to win this same race at the Oscars for most of awards season. However, he has lost at two key precursor prizes — the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards — to Sam Rockwell (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”).

Those losses, coupled with Rockwell’s respectable showing in the regional races (eight wins) make him a strong Oscar contender. Dafoe has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor twice before (for “Shadow of the Vampire” and “Platoon”), while Rockwell will be an Oscar rookie.

Dafoe’s loss at the Globes is easily explainable. Rockwell won for playing a colorful villain – beating out Dafoe, who played a character who was the heart and soul of his film. This followed the same pattern of the Best Supporting Actor award the year before.

Mark Millar Wants Thor: Ragnarok’s Tessa Thompson As The New Kick-Ass

Mark Millar’s successful Kick-Ass comics have already spawned two live-action movies starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the ad-hoc hero Dave Lizewsky. However, an upcoming follow-up comic from the writer is set to bring in a second version of Kick-Ass, with single mother Patience Lee taking on the mantle and donning the familiar green and yellow suit. So, who could play Patience if there was a Kick-Ass 3? Well, Millar himself has an idea.

The creator took to Twitter to clear up a common question that fans ask him by naming Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson as his top pick to play the new Kick-Ass on the big screen, describing the actress as the “one choice [that] really jumps out.”

A lot of fans asking who I'd want as this new Kick-Ass. To be honest, one choice really jumps out and that's @TessaThompson_x. https://t.co/h3llrt75qO

Gal Gadot Is a Wonder in Yellow at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala

Gal Gadot Is a Wonder in Yellow at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala
Gal Gadot will be among the attendees at Sunday’s 2018 Golden Globes, and likely one of the many women wearing all-black looks as a symbol of protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood.

So on Tuesday, it was no surprise to see the 32-year-old Israeli-born actress go in the opposite direction when choosing her gown for the 29th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

The Wonder Woman star walked the red carpet at the Palm Springs Convention Center in a fitted sleeveless bright yellow gown with a plunging asymmetrical neckline, an open back, and thigh-high slit.

Surprise Golden Globes Nominations and Wins Rooted in Awards Race Reality

Surprise Golden Globes Nominations and Wins Rooted in Awards Race Reality
When we consider the Golden Globes, we often focus on the surprises: That time in 2011 when not only did the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. nominate “The Tourist” for best picture — musical or comedy, but also its star, Johnny Depp, for lead actor.

While the nominations can seem mercurial, the long view shows that the HFPA generally reflects more middle-brow Hollywood tastes without too much foreign flavor. And, peering over our shoulders to last year, they ushered “Moonlight” and “La La Land” — best picture drama and best picture — musical or comedy, respectively — off to the Oscars for the biggest finish line fumble in Academy history. One can say that the swamis at the HFPA virtually anticipated the climactic Academy Awards snafu.

The biggest shocker this year on the film side is that the HFPA didn’t catch the industry’s wave of female empowerment and nominate a single woman for director honors, which remained
