Young will be joining the previously announced cast of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Charlie Hunnam, and Giovanni Ribisi.
The story follows a young man who awakens on an airplane to Chicago with no recollection of his injuries or of how he ended up on the plane. He then heads to a rehab and begins his journey to sobriety. Young will play Lilly, a crack and heroin addict who falls in love with the man.
Both Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Johnson adapted the script from James Frey’s 2003 book of the same name. Though the novel was promoted as a memoir, it was later discovered that many of the events described in the book never happened.
The film is the first feature of Brad Weston’s Makeready company to go into production. Makeready’s Pam Abdy

This year, through the support of Ejaf’s friends at Bbva Compass, the Roca Brothers of the Michelin three-star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, will design and prepare a sumptuous dinner for Party guests to enjoy while watching a live telecast of the 90th Academy Awards. Alexander Gilkes of Paddle8 will return to conduct the evening’s highly anticipated live auction. Illusionist David Jarre will make a special appearance, and the event concludes with
Take Age of Ultron as an example. Initially released back in 2015, the Joss Whedon sequel forced Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into a messy conflict with Ultron, James Spader’s malevolent A.I. that threatened to turn the fictional nation of Sokovia into an immense planet killer.
Thankfully, Spader’s self-propelled doomsday machine was stopped in the nick of time – at the expense of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver, sadly – and the Avengers went their separate ways. But now that an Infinity War is afoot, Comic Book Movie has today rolled out a massive gallery of concept art focusing on the villains of Age of Ultron.
It’s by no means the first time that Joss Whedon’s follow-up has been ushered into
Coming to us by way of Cbm, this is perhaps the definitive showcase of Joss Whedon’s superpowered sequel, which initially placed the Avengers on a collision course with James Spader’s malevolent A.I., Ultron, in 2015, back when the McU was still in the throes of Phase 2.
Fast forward to 2018, and Marvel Studios is now bracing for three of the biggest films in superhero history: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Peyton Reed’s caper sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is expected to bring some welcome comic relief in July.
For now, though, Marvel fans have been treated to a visual breakdown of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which includes concept art for many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – namely Black Widow, Vision, Cap and more! – along with
Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what to make of ‘Nocturnal Animals‘. It’s one of those movies that I suspect, overall, is more about emotion than it is, the actual events of the movie. Of course, the only real actual events of the movie, is
Loosely based on Frey’s life (and published as a memoir rather than a novel, leading to much controversy), A Million Little Pieces tells of his rehabilitation from drug and alcohol abuse. Taylor-Johnson is set to portray the protagonist, with Thornton as Leonard, his guardian angel at a rehab facility, with Juri as the female lead. Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar) is also on board.
Filming on A Million Pieces is set to get underway this coming week, and is being financed by Makeready, a new independent
Those losses, coupled with Rockwell’s respectable showing in the regional races (eight wins) make him a strong Oscar contender. Dafoe has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor twice before (for “Shadow of the Vampire” and “Platoon”), while Rockwell will be an Oscar rookie.
Dafoe’s loss at the Globes is easily explainable. Rockwell won for playing a colorful villain – beating out Dafoe, who played a character who was the heart and soul of his film. This followed the same pattern of the Best Supporting Actor award the year before.
Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Juri, and Charlie Hunnam have joined Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Giovanni Ribisi in the detox drama “A Million Little Pieces.”
Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing for Brad Weston’s Makeready. Makeready’s Pam Abdy is producing with the Picture Company partners Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who are married, adapted the script from James Frey’s 2003 book “A Million Little Pieces.” Though the novel was promoted as a memoir, it was later discovered that many of the events described in the book never happened.
Makeready will fully finance the film. Sierra/Affinity is handling international sales and plans to take the project to Berlin.

Sam Taylor-Johnson, who directed 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey, is behind the camera for the adaptation of the James Frey best-seller that is being financed by Brad Weston’s Makeready Films.

The book was for years set up at Warner Bros., but the Taylor-Johnson husband-and-wife team extricated it. Million Little Pieces became controversial after Frey was exposed for inventing or embellishing...
The creator took to Twitter to clear up a common question that fans ask him by naming Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson as his top pick to play the new Kick-Ass on the big screen, describing the actress as the “one choice [that] really jumps out.”
A lot of fans asking who I'd want as this new Kick-Ass. To be honest, one choice really jumps out and that's @TessaThompson_x. https://t.co/h3llrt75qO

This morning, at BAFTA headquarters, Edith Bowman and 2013 Ee Rising Star Award winner Juno Temple revealed this year’s coveted list of nominees for the 2018 Ee Rising Star award.
Let’s face it, competition has been pretty tough from the numerous outstanding performances delivered in 2017. The judges – which included jury chair Marc Samuelson, actress Georgina Campbell, broadcaster Edith Bowman, BAFTA award-winning director, Philippa Lowthorpe, casting director Lucy Bevan and other leading industry specialists and entertainment journalists. – had an unenviable job whittling down the list of five actors and actresses who have shown exceptional talent on the big screen over the past 12 months and have captured the attention of the public and film industry alike.
The nominations for the 2018 Ee Rising Star Award is as follow’s;

So on Tuesday, it was no surprise to see the 32-year-old Israeli-born actress go in the opposite direction when choosing her gown for the 29th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
The Wonder Woman star walked the red carpet at the Palm Springs Convention Center in a fitted sleeveless bright yellow gown with a plunging asymmetrical neckline, an open back, and thigh-high slit.
Gadot accessorized her look with tan heels,
While the nominations can seem mercurial, the long view shows that the HFPA generally reflects more middle-brow Hollywood tastes without too much foreign flavor. And, peering over our shoulders to last year, they ushered “Moonlight” and “La La Land” — best picture drama and best picture — musical or comedy, respectively — off to the Oscars for the biggest finish line fumble in Academy history. One can say that the swamis at the HFPA virtually anticipated the climactic Academy Awards snafu.
The biggest shocker this year on the film side is that the HFPA didn’t catch the industry’s wave of female empowerment and nominate a single woman for director honors, which remained
