‘Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool’ Trailer: Annette Bening Enters the Race for Her First Oscar
It’s hard to believe that Annette Bening has never won an Oscar. The 59-year-old actress has been nominated four times and got incredibly close to landing her fifth nomination last year for her wonderful lead role in Mike Mills’ “20th Century Women.” The Academy snubbed her, but she’s not wasting any time out of the awards season. Bening is back with “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool.”

“Liverpool” is based on the memoir by British actor Peter Turner and recounts his romance with the legendary and eccentric Hollywood actress Gloria Grahame during the last years of her life. Grahame won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in 1952’s “The Bad and the Beautiful” and appeared in films alongside Humphrey Bogart, Robert Mitchum, and Kirk Douglas.

Bening takes on the role of Grahame, while Jamie Bell plays Turner. The supporting cast includes Julie Walters and Vanessa Redgrave.

A Quiet Place But Not for Long in this Tense Trailer

Tagline: "If They Can't Hear You, They Can't Hurt You." The first trailer for A Quiet Place has debuted, this week. The clip shows a small family, living in a rural location. They speak with sign language as a monster? stalks the yard. This title was developed by John Krasinski (13 Hours, 2016), who is married to castmate Emily Blunt in real life; they also play a distressed couple in the film. A Quiet Place also stars deaf actress Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck) and young actor Noah Jupe. The trailer is a tense one and it can be found here. The trailer shows a strange family routine. A cross stands up on a bridge. A marked path leads one character to it. In another scene, a young girl walks a painted path as claw marks streak across a wall. There is no dialogue. Later, the family gathers for a game of Monopoly. But,

We firstly want to mention the first trailer for Rampage, based on the ‘80s arcade game of the same name and starring Dwayne Johnson. The Rock plays a scientist-type who finds himself battling horrifically mutated giant animals, including the albino gorilla he rescued from the wild. This is 100% as wild as it sounds, and we honestly think the trailer speaks for itself. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Naomie Harris also star. Catch Rampage in Cineplex theatres April 20th.

Video: A Quiet Place – Teaser Trailer

Ssh! Don’t make a sound. The teaser trailer for supernatural horror A Quiet Place has been unleashed onto the inter-web and if you don’t like awkward silences, this one might not be for you.

The teaser doesn’t give too much away regarding the plot, but what’s clear is that a family living out in the country are forced to live in total silence in order to hide from an unknown evil that thrives on sound. File this one under “intriguing”. With such a unique concept it’ll be interesting to see how they tackle a horror film with restricted sound. Not much screaming in this one, I’m guessing.

A Quiet Place stars Emily Blunt and John Krasinski and will sneak into cinemas April 2018.

Check out the teaser above and let us know your thoughts below.

John Krasinski directed and co-stars in the film alongside Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe (Suburbicon), and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck). Teaser Trailer for John Krasinski's 'A Quiet Place' Starring Emily Blunt

"If they can't hear you, they can't hunt you." Paramount has unveiled the first mysterious teaser trailer for a horror thriller titled A Quiet Place, directed by and starring actor John Krasinski. Holy smokes this looks good, original, and thrilling. The film is about a family living quietly on a farm, keeping to themselves. Monsters (I think?) have taken over the world but they only hunt by sound, so if you stay quiet they can't find you. The teaser sets up the story quite well. Emily Blunt stars, along with Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds (who you may recognize as the fantastic deaf actress from Wonderstruck). Okay, so I am way into this. Helluva tease. The big scratches on the wall have me intrigued - what are dealing with here? How big? Is anyone else reminded of Pitch Black? I like all the sign language already. Can't wait to find out more.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have to live their lives in silence to stay undetected from an unknown thing in the first teaser trailer for “A Quiet Place.” Paramount Pictures’ film was directed by Krasinski as well, and also stars Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds. In the trailer, a family lives in a house in the woods, but they must not make a noise, otherwise something — it’s not quite known what — will come for them. They eat dinner in silence, speak in sign language, play games quietly, and walk only on planks that don’t creak. Everything goes well until one.
