The Voice Top 10 Results Show Recap: Which Two Singers Exited Stage Left?

As The Voice hurtled toward the Season 13 semifinals Tuesday, three contestants sang for a save before not one but two of them were sent packing. Going into the hour, the likeliest candidates for elimination were, as usual, Shi’Ann Jones (poor sales and polling) and, this time around, Ashland Craft (whose star power shone about as brightly Monday as one of those miniature glitter stars your teacher would affix to your test when you got an “A” in second grade). But who actually took their final bows?

Molly Shannon Returns to Will & Grace as Val Bassett — 2018 First Look

Molly Shannon Returns to Will & Grace as Val Bassett — 2018 First Look
Now we know for sure which way madness lies: Molly Shannon is set to bring the cray-cray back to Will & Grace as wackadoodle Val Bassett, and TVLine has an exclusive first look at Jack’s onetime stalker in (fatal attr)action.

As you can see from the image — a throwback, perhaps, to the character’s introduction to Will during a Season 1 elevator ride — Grace’s rival has not gone sane, so to speak, since her last appearance in Season 7. Or at least Karen and Jack don’t seem to think that she has, given the distance they’re keeping from her. The hitcom’s co-creators, Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, say that “2018 promises to be a year marked by unmoored insanity, and it’s in that spirit we’ve asked the divine Molly Shannon to be part of the second half of our first season back.”

The Voice Top 10 Performance Recap: Just Singing for Second Place

Ok, so this isn’t the most suspenseful season of The Voice ever. At this point, for Chloe Kohanski not to win, she wouldn’t just have to hit a bum note, she’d have to smack one of the show’s producers. (And even then, if she cried a glittery, apologetic tear, they might turn the other cheek.) The only real question mark hanging over Season 13 is which contestants will be singing with her in the finals. Some, obviously, won’t make it. (Good as he is, poor Adam Cunningham’s been on borrowed time for going on three weeks.
