Inside 'The Punisher': Why the Marvel Fan Favorite Deserved His Own Series
Jon Bernthal is getting the shit kicked out of him.

The 41-year-old actor is tied to a chair in a dusty, dingy basement that doubles as an underground surveillance control center-slash-hacker mancave, complete with a dozen computers and a dirty cot in the corner. He looks like he's gone several rounds with either Mike Tyson circa 1988 or a mack truck. The person standing in front of him doling out punches – and whose identity may or may not constitute a spoiler, depending on how far along you are in The Punisher's inaugural season,

The Big Sick Gets A Sweet First Trailer And Poster Starring Zoe Kazan

Watch the cute first trailer for The Big Sick starring Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter and Ray Romano.

Based on the real-life courtship between Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, The Big Sick tells the story of Pakistan-born aspiring comedian Kumail (Nanjiani), who connects with grad student Emily (Kazan) after one of his standup sets. However, what they thought would be just a one-night stand blossoms into the real thing, which complicates the life that is expected of Kumail by his traditional Muslim parents.

When Emily is beset with a mystery illness, it forces Kumail to navigate the medical crisis with her parents, Beth and Terry (Holly Hunter and Ray Romano) who he’s never met, while dealing with the emotional tug-of-war between his family and his heart.

This week's episode shifts the focus back to Jervis Tetch by having him give an ultimatum between Valerie Vale or Lee. Who will Gordon choose? Will he be able to save them both? Also, Penguin and Nygma's bond will continue to grow while someone from Nygma's past will return. Who will it be? Read on to find out!

Gordon – Valerie Vale asks Gordon to get him an interview with Lee so she can find out more about Alice Tetch’s blood. She continues her blunt nature by asking him why he is still a Pi since he’s only had two cases, which have failed. Jamie Chung plays the part well and is convincing as a blunt, yet seductive foil for Gordon. She eventually plays the

How To Get Away With Murder Review – TV ABC

How to Get Away with Murder Review

When I reviewed Scandal, I basically related the idea that I thought few shows had ever been as convinced of the general stupidity of the viewing public, but I’d also like to buy stock in it. How to Get Away with Murder is clear evidence that I was unaware just how far that envelope could be pushed.

The show is created and written by Pete Nowalk, also of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal fame, and Shonda Rhimes serves as executive producer, but it’s her name you’re going to hear pushed.

The series opens with four people frantically trying to decide what to do about the murder they’ve committed, and they’re doing it on campus during a huge pre-football celebration that sees drunk students roaming everywhere. They’re torn about whether they should go back and move the body,

Film Review: Paul Rudd Makes a Difference as ‘Our Idiot Brother’

Chicago – Advertised deceptively as a comedy, the new film “My Idiot Brother” has a Zen-like quality that is surprising, and oddly captivating, but cannot sustain itself and eventually runs out of steam. Paul Rudd plays the brother to three errant sisters, portrayed by Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer.

Rating: 3.0/5.0

This is more of a slice-of-life than a laugh out loud comedy, but the elements of the absurd post-millennial life of the characters does contribute to knowing chuckles and reflections about the truth that families often hide. In that sense the film attempts redemption, but the story shifts to provide a happy ending that leaves the characters wanting for more, including the Idiot Brother.

Ned (Rudd) practices organic agriculture and happily plies his trade at a local East Coast farmer’s market. He is a kind, trusting presence in all the lives he touches, even selling pot to a

'If it was edited down in any way, I don't think it would be the same thing,' Pattinson says of the script.

Beware of major "Remember Me" spoilers below.

From Paul Greengrass' nerve-jangling "United 93" to Adam Sandler's maudlin drama "Reign Over Me," the events of September 11, 2001, have served as both the main event and the trauma-infused context for a string of Hollywood films. The latest cinematic exploration of 9/11 comes during Robert Pattinson's romantic drama "Remember Me."

At the end of what appears to be a commonplace love story between two young New Yorkers — played by Pattinson and "Lost" star Emilie de Ravin — the audience learns that the events of the film are actually set almost one decade in the past. Pattinson's character travels up to his father's office, which we suddenly realize
