Marvel’s Kevin Feige says future Avengers movies will take place in space

Although Marvel is keeping its Phase Four plans tightly under wraps, we do know that the studio plans on delving further into the cosmic universe post-Avengers 4, with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn helping Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige to help shape this side of the McU.

Well, it seems this cosmic emphasis won’t just apply to the likes of the Guardians and Thor, as Feige has revealed at Brazil’s Comic-Con Experience that future Avengers movies will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes venturing into outer space.

“If the Avengers survive, we will see more films with them in space,” said Feige (via Talkies Network). “I love and would like to see more films in space.”

It is expected that the McU will receive a major shake up after Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel, with characters such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel coming to the forefront.

Jeremy Renner has teased an image of what looks to be his Hawkeye/Ronin costume for Avengers 4 and Gwyneth Paltrow has had a spoiler-filled behind the scenes video deleted.

The question of just who is going to turn up in Avengers 4, or rather, who will survive Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, is one that is asked often. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is a character that will be showing up however, and the actor has shared on Instagram a shot of himself in costume (prior spy photos have indicated that he’ll be getting a brand new suit as he moves over to his Ronin persona).

The shadowy photo was posted along with the caption: “Costume on point today … what do you think?”

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts in the McU, may have just given away a pretty big spoiler regarding her character in Avengers 4.

Jimmy Kimmel returned to his late night hosting gig on Monday -- with an adorable sidekick in tow!

Kimmel -- who took a leave last week to be with his family as his 7-month-old son, Billy, underwent his second heart surgery -- brought his adorable baby boy along with him for part of his monologue on Monday's show.

"He's fine, everybody! He may have pooped, but he's fine," the late night host joked as he thanked the celeb friends who filled in for him last week -- Chris Pratt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Melissa McCarthy and Neil Patrick Harris -- before growing emotional. "Daddy cries on TV, but Billy doesn't. It's unbelievable."

Kimmel teared up as he spoke about his son's surgery, and then took the opportunity to urge his viewers to contact their congressional representatives about renewing Chip, the Children’s Health Insurance Plan, which provides healthcare coverage to children whose families don't qualify for Medicaid and don't receive

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Rockets to Dominant Social Media Buzz
Disney-Luscasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” dominated social media buzz last week in the wake of the Dec. 9 world premiere and announcing its dedication to the late Carrie Fisher, according to media-measurement firm comScore and its PreAct service.

“The Last Jedi,” which opens Dec. 15, generated 368,000 new conversations last week to bring its total to 4.75 million. Tracking has shown the tentpole’s opening weekend could be in the $200 million range at the domestic box office — which would be the fourth-largest of all time after “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Jurassic World” and “The Avengers.”

Directed by Rian Johnson, the movie picks up where 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” left off. It stars returning cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Andy Serkis. Anna Faris and Son Out With Her New Boyfriend

  • TMZ
Anna Faris' posse is back to a party of 3. Anna was out Sunday in L.A. taking a stroll with her boyfriend, Michael Barrett, and her son, Jack.  Jack looks pretty chill up on Barrett's shoulders and it shouldn't come as a surprise since Anna and Michael have been spending plenty of time together. The two were spotted just a couple weeks ago when they went house hunting together. As for things with estranged hubby Chris Pratt,

Can we all just admit Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom looks awful?

Anghus Houvouras on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

I watched the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer, laughing like a loon at how completely bereft of ideas this terrible looking sequel has. The terrible trailer was launched this past week and was the most troubling two minutes of 2017 that didn’t involve the words ‘Donald’, ‘Trump, and ‘thermonuclear annihilation’.

This trailer was bad. So bad. And you know you’re in trouble when you can’t find two good minutes to string together for marketing purposes. The most glaring flaw wasn’t the return of Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt’s chemistry-free characters, but a plot which feels so redundant that they might as well have called this movie Jurassic World: The Lost Park.

Sequels usually suck because studios are afraid to go somewhere new. Most follow ups are so obsessively devoted to the original blueprint that they never build anything new.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige compares Chris Evans’ Captain America to Christopher Reeve’s Superman

It’s fair to say that a few eyebrows were raised when Marvel first announced that the former Human Torch Chris Evans would be taking on the role of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Evans has since won over any critics with his superb performances in the Captain America and Avengers films, and Marvel StudiosKevin Feige has been singing the actor’s praises in an interview with Vanity Fair, where he compared him to Christopher Reeve’s Man of Steel.

“Casting Captain America was super hard,” said Feige. “I started to think, ‘Are we not going to be able to find Captain America, and if we can’t, what are we going to do with Avengers? Is the whole thing going to fall apart?’ And, then, finally opening ourselves up to Chris Evans, who we had initially sort of just looked

The Flickering Myth Reaction to the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer

The Flickering Myth writing team reacts to the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer…

After successfully relaunching the Jurassic Park franchise in 2016 with Jurassic World, Universal Pictures is set to take us back to Isla Nublar next summer with the J.A. Bayona-directed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and yesterday saw the release of the very first trailer for the dino-blockbuster. Read on to find out what our writing team made of this first-look…

Tom Beasley: I struggled a little with this trailer, despite my love for all of the actors involved and for J.A. Bayona as a director. It certainly delivers in terms of visual spectacle, but the plot seems a little lazy and I’m not sure there’s enough there to mark this movie out as different to what has come before. But, on the other hand, we’re getting new dinosaur fights and I’m not one

Jurassic World 2 Trailer Is Only from First Hour of the Movie

Jurassic World 2 Trailer Is Only from First Hour of the Movie
The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has finally arrived online. The trailer has received mixed reactions from fans, but there's a whole lot of action in it and it definitely helps set up the plot, which will involve a volcanic eruption on Isla Nublar and an attempted rescue mission for the dinosaurs on the island. However, as much as it looks like this trailer lays out the entire movie on a platter, that's far from the case. In fact, writer and producer Colin Trevorrow reveals that the trailer only contains footage from the first hour of the movie.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first Jurassic World, took to Twitter last night to make the rather unexpected reveal. A fan expressed concern that it looks as though the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer lays out all three acts of the movie, with the bulk of the action taking place in the third act,

Marvel’s Kevin Feige explains how to build a cinematic universe

Over the past decade, Kevin Feige has led Marvel Studios to phenomenal success, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe becoming the highest-grossing movie franchise in history with over $13 billion in box office receipts. This success has prompted several other attempts at shared universes, although the likes of Warner’s DC Extended Universe and Universal Dark Universe have not yet managed to reach the same kind of critical and commercial heights.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Feige was asked what advice he’d give to those looking to build their own universes, responding that:

“The only advice, and I’ve sort of said this already today, is don’t worry about the universe. Worry about the movie. We never set out to build a universe. We set out to make a great Iron Man movie, a Hulk movie, a Thor movie and then be able to do what, at the time,

Melissa McCarthy and Jennifer Aniston Hilariously Debate Global Warming While Filling in for Jimmy Kimmel

Melissa McCarthy and Jennifer Aniston Hilariously Debate Global Warming While Filling in for Jimmy Kimmel
Melissa McCarthy and Jennifer Aniston are feuding over science!

While filling in as a guest host for Jimmy Kimmel -- who's out following his son's most recent heart surgery -- on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, the comedian hilariously debated with Aniston over whether gravity is real or just a hoax, mocking the issue of global warming.

"As you know, there has been a lot of talk these days about the environment, our changing climate and global warming. As some people say, it's real. And then the really smart people, they know it's a rouse, invented by the Illuminati," jokes McCarthy, who was dressed as a giant menorah. "But there is an even bigger issue facing our planet, one that has gone undebunked for hundreds of years."

The clip then flashes to a video of "famous person Melissa McCarthy" who explains, "There's a subject the mainstream media doesn't want you to hear about."

"They say we shouldn't

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Skims Goofy Plot And Showcases Action

Going back to Jurassic Park/World is, apart from a great way to make money, a kind of celebration of bygone days of cinema. With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (or any consecutive trips to any well), we run the danger of losing sight of the lightning we think we’re bottling.

Much like films like Raiders of the Lost Ark, “Remember when movies were…,” will only pan out for so long, and then the odds keep increasing that we’ll follow up with, “Oh Christ, that’s right, they were like that.”

Of course, these movies frequently fill seats, and being a fan of movies necessitates the ability to make a leap of faith. With the success of the movies in the past, there’s good reason to hold out hope, but the trailer has a lot of clues if you look close, and this one is either going to be brilliant,

Did the 'Jurassic World' Trailer Get It Right?

Did the 'Jurassic World' Trailer Get It Right?
The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has sparked quite a reaction online. Dinosaur enthusiasts are both cautiously optimistic that the sequel can live up to 2015's Jurassic World, which was so successful that it still stands as the No. 4 movie of all time worldwide. Others are feeling, well, less optimistic. The team at Heat Vision has assembled to take a closer look.

Graeme McMillan: I know this wasn’t meant to be my takeaway from the trailer, but opening on Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt fighting again just made me think, “Wow, you two shouldn’t be the primary romantic...
