Annika Noelle Joins 'The Bold and the Beautiful' as Hope Logan

Annika Noelle has joined the cast of CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as the new Hope Logan, a role most recently played by Kim Matula.

Noelle told Soap Opera Digest that she was in the dark about who she would be playing when she first auditioned.

"Going in, you do your research about the show and I was able to figure out a bit, based on who I was doing my chemistry reads with, who this might be," she reveals. "I did a chemistry read first with Scott Clifton [Liam] and then another with Katherine Kelly Lang [Brooke]. I was thrilled because Hope has a real joie de vivre about her. She sees the glass as half-full and even though she has been through hardship, she doesn’t let that drag her down, and I think that’s a wonderful quality."

Et's Denny Directo caught up with the soap opera's iconic stars at CBS Television City in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where they opened up about their big milestone -- and revealed whether or not shooting love scenes gets easier after all these years.

"No, [it does not feel like 30 years has passed]," McCook said. "It feels like five or 10. I know I've been here a while, but 30 years is hard to wrap my brain around. Suds icon Katherine Kelly Lang recently took a three-month break from her role as Brooke Logan on CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful to appear on the Italian version of Dancing With the Stars. Ashley Tisdale & Christopher French: Daytime Emmy Duo

They’re always up for a smashing good time, and on Friday (June 20) Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French headed over to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel for the 2014 Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards Gala.

The betrothed lovers opted for matching black and grey ensembles as they posed for photos ahead of the big event.

And though the 41st Daytime Emmys was slammed by multiple media outlets with words like “trainwreck” and “disaster,” host Kathy Griffin manned the hosting duties and made sure the winners got their due recognition.

The 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held Sunday at the Beverly Hills Hilton, hosted by expletive-happy comedienne Kathy Griffin and streamed online at DaytimeEmmys.net, home of the most dreadful pre-show ever.

CBS’ The Young and the Restless came away as this year’s big winner, grabbing gold five times at Sunday night’s main gala, including for Outstanding Drama and for Lead Actor. Sister sudser The Bold and the Beautiful was shut out at the big show, but had scored four statuettes at Friday night’s Creative Arts awards ceremony (see winners list).
