Fun UK Trailer for Feel-Good Wrestling Comedy 'Walk Like A Panther'

"The Panthers... You shall all be warriors once more!" 20th Century Fox UK has unveiled an official trailer for a feel-good, cheesy comedy titled Walk Like A Panther, which opens in UK cinemas in March (but no Us release planned yet). The film stars Stephen Graham and Dave Johns (the lead of I, Daniel Blake) as a father-son duo who must team up to help save their local pub when it's threatened. They gather up their old wrestling friends to put on one big show dressed up in their goofy 80's wrestling costumes to make extra money for the pub. The cast includes Stephen Marcus, Julian Sands, Jill Halfpenny, Christopher Fairbank, Robbie Gee, Sue Johnston, plus Stephen Tompkinson, along with Lena Headey and Jason Flemyng. This looks sort of fun, I guess. If this kind of British humor is your thing, then have at it. Here's the official UK trailer

Dwayne Johnson’s Busy Slate

Dwayne Johnson’s Busy Slate
One of the most in-demand actors in the biz, Dwayne Johnson’s slate begs the question, “How does he have the time?”

This past year, Johnson had starring roles in three major films, including the box office smash “The Fate of the Furious,” and he’s not slowing down. His IMDb page boasts more than 10 titles with projects ranging from his own “Fast & Furious” spinoff to the development of a “San Andreas” sequel to a rumored role in the “Suicide Squad” sequel.

One of Johnson’s biggest recent successes was Disney’s “Moana,” which became one of the year’s top-grossing films of the year, with more than $640 million at the box office. So it makes sense for sequel rumors to begin swirling.

“I am only interested in a ‘Moana’ sequel if the entire movie is solely based on my character Maui and that he has no friends except his tattoos and loves singing Lin-Manuel Miranda songs

Review: Games of Thrones: The Complete Seventh Season

  • Comicmix
With the news this week that the eighth and final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones won’t air until 2019 comes just as Games of Thrones: The Complete Seventh Season arrives on disc tomorrow. The digital editions have been out for some time and if any season bears repeat watching it is this one.

One advantage to the bloodshed and character demises over the last few seasons has meant that the survivors all get larger roles, meatier scenes, and characters we’ve longed to see together actually share the screen. The episodes are longer, but there are fewer of them to enjoy. Perhaps the biggest downside to this is that events have had to be telescoped, stretching and then breaking the show’s internal logic.

No matter how the producers spin it, there was really no way for episode six to work once the White Walkers surrounded our hardy band of warriors.

Game of Thrones: Season Eight to Be Released in 2019, According to Sophie Turner

Venom! Black Panther! Tomb Raider! Mary Poppins 2?! These movies - and so many more - await us in 2018...

If 2017 was something of a bumper year for film, then there’s plenty to suggest that 2018 will also be something rather special. So much so, in fact, that we’ve expanded our preview list to 40, and still couldn’t fit everything in.

Here, though, is a slice of what lies ahead…

40. Venom

Sony is finally launching its spin-off collection of Spider-Man movies in 2018, with three films currently planned at the time of writing. The first of those is Venom, that sees Tom Hardy taking the lead role (rather than Topher Grace, who played the character not entirely successfully in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3). Ruben Fleischer, still best known for Zombieland,
