Jessica Chastain wants to play Beverly in It: Chapter 2

Jessica Chastain is on many people’s It: Chapter 2 grown-up Losers Club wish-list, and it appears that the actress is equally keen to play the grown-up Beverly Marsh in the blockbuster horror sequel.

Speaking to Screenrant, Chastain said “Well, I love Andy and Barbara. I worked with them on Andy’s directorial debut, you know, his film, Mama. His first film. And you know, Barbara is one of my best friends so… Listen, of course, I want to work… they’re my friends. They’re like my family. Anything that they’re doing I want to be a part of, so I hope we can make it happen.”

A sequel to Andy Muschietti’s It was a no-brainer after it became the biggest grossing horror film of all time, and casting Chastain appears to be a similarly easy decision for Warner Bros. to make.

Jessica Chastain Game To Play Adult Bev For New Line Horror Sequel It: Chapter Two

Soon after Andy Muschetti’s horror reboot began raking in the box office cash – It‘s lifetime total is now simmering around $677 million (!) – and New Line and Warner Bros. issued the go-ahead for a sequel, it didn’t take long before the Internet dreamed up a wishlist of big-name stars for the adult Losers Club.

And so, as Bill Hader (Richie) and John Krasinski (Ben) were tossed into the proverbial hat for It: Chapter Two, Beverly Marsh quickly boiled down to a two-horse race between Amy Adams (Justice League) and Jessica Chastain. Neither Adams nor Chastain have been approached about a potential deal, but when Screen Rant caught up with the latter, the Molly’s Game actress revealed her desire to reunite with Andy and Barbara Muschetti.

As you’ll no doubt remember, that creative trio worked together on Mama, the 2013 cult hit that was based on Andy Muschetti’s

It 2 Fan-Made Posters Predict the Adult Losers' Club Cast
It is still finishing up a historical run at the box office, but many horror fans are already looking ahead to It 2. Considering how well the first movie did, and considering how perfectly it set up It: Chapter Two, it's no surprise that so many are ready for the next installment. Now, in order to hype that up a bit, some excellent homemade posters have arrived online, perfectly fan-casting the adult version of The Losers Club.

The posters were made by Deviant Art's NetoRibeiro89, who made seven individual character posters for It: Chapter Two. One for each member of The Losers Club. Not only do the posters look fantastic, featuring a black background with the face of each actor partially masked by Pennywise's iconic red balloon, but his casting choices are on point. This version of the movie would see Adam Scott as Eddie, Patrick Wilson as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly,

‘Too Funny to Fail’ Review: ‘Dana Carvey Show’ Doc Finds Some Joy in One of Comedy’s Most Glorious Failures
Enough time has passed since the preemptive demise of “The Dana Carvey Show” that Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Robert Smigel, and the comedian who gave the show its name can chuckle a bit. Twenty years after ABC pulled the plug on a subversive primetime sketch show, “Too Funny to Fail” revisits the meteoric rise and spectacular flameout that surrounded the show’s eight-episode run in the spring of 1996. Yet with decades of perspective, Josh Greenbaum’s documentary finds a surprising amount of fondness and wistfulness in a doomed project with such a public end.

Part of that bittersweet satisfaction comes from the retroactive knowledge that some of the major players in this saga would go on to shape the modern comedy landscape. Colbert and Carell got their first big breaks as “Dana Carvey Show” cast members, while Smigel would eventually go on to a vaunted comedy writing career (including being

Dina review – touching, tender documentary about couple with autism

This beautifully shot movie, whose principals emerge as intensely likable and intelligent, avoids cliche and sometimes feels like an arthouse reality show

Here is a sweet, tender documentary study, showing a middle-aged man and woman, Dina and Scott, preparing to get married. They both have autism. It is a beautifully shot, coolly composed movie, in which the principals emerge as intensely likable and intelligent. The film avoids obvious cliches taken from, say, Diane Arbus or Grey Gardens, although the influence of both is plain.

Weirdly, this could almost be a scripted, fictional drama; I can imagine a shot-for-shot, line-for-line remake starring Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. It also feels sometimes like a classy arthouse reality show: directors Dan Sickles and Antonio Santini interestingly include a moment in which Dina ponders how reality shows are made. And the emotional mule kick in this film is that Dina was abused and seriously assaulted by a previous partner,
