Two former Obama staffers are defending White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson amid conspiracy theories that he gave false information about Donald Trump’s weight after the president’s routine physical exam last week.

Jackson was appointed to his role by former President Barack Obama in 2013.

Alyssa Mastromonaco, who served as Obama’s former deputy chief of staff for operations, and Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior adviser to Obama, described the White House doctor in tweets as a “saint and a patriot” who “took great care of all of us for many years.”

Director James Gunn Offers Trump $100K to Climb on Scale

Gunn has offered President Trump the six figures to the charity of his choice if he agrees to step on a scale to prove his actual height and weight. Many have taken note that Trump's reported weight of 239 pounds doesn't match up with others of the same height and weight. For instance, Trump is reportedly 6'3" and 239 pounds while professional football player Carrol Phillips is the same height and ways 3 pounds more than the president, but looks much different.

James Gunn is at the forefront of the so-called #girthermovement, which is a take on Donald Trump's own birther movement campaign that launched in 2008 when Barack Obama was running for president. The birther movement believed, and still believes, that President Obama

There Are Currently No Plans To Integrate The X-Men Into Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

Marvel’s Fantastic Four and the famous X-Men are homeward bound, that much we know, but when can we expect to see the cinematic fruits of Disney’s landmark merger?

Late last year, the Mouse House officially made its move to acquire 20th Century Fox in a deal said to be worth upwards of $52.4 billion. It’ll likely take another two-to-three years to fully consummate, but when it does, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get a whole lot bigger – and we’re talking about superhero crossovers the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

And though Disney is yet to disclose the finer details of its acquisition, comic book fans are already beginning to formulate their own ideas for the seemingly inevitable Avengers vs. X-Men event movie – not to mention recasting the Fantastic Four. Exciting though that may be, writer-director James Gunn has now clarified that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

James Gunn Promises Yondu Won’t Return from the Dead

With fans embracing the majority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s colorful characters, it’s no surprise that fans often find themselves sad to see them go. Yondu’s death in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 was one of the most recent, and most difficult, farewells for fans to accept, so it’s perhaps no surprise that director James Gunn has decided to address whether actor Michael Rooker’s red-finned Ravager’s death will be overturned.

Alas, Gunn responded by saying, “as long I’m around,” Yondu is going to stay dead.

James Gunn Won’t Resurrect Yondu For Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 might have been baggier and less-focused in some ways than its acclaimed predecessor, but it arguably zeroed in on its characters even more. In particular, it did an amazing job of thoroughly humanizing Michael Rooker’s Yondu. Peter’s childhood kidnapper being reinterpreted as his adoptive daddy could have felt cheap, but the actors and James Gunn’s writing really sell the dysfunctional father-son dynamic.

It catches you by surprise, then, when you find yourself welling up when Yondu sacrifices his own life to save his “son,” when he gives Star-Lord his air supply – in a neat mirror of Peter’s own heroic act towards Gamora in the first movie. The ensuing funeral scene is also very touching, with Peter’s “Hasselhoff” speech just injecting the right amount of light humour into the moment before it undercuts the emotion.

With such an increased role for the character in Vol.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Story Won't Change with Disney/Fox Deal

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Story Won't Change with Disney/Fox Deal
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn answered some fan questions over the weekend on Twitter and announced that the Disney and Fox deal will not have any effect on the story of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, the final movie in the trilogy. The merger has been a big topic of discussion over the last several weeks with comic book fans wondering about the possibility of some dream-worthy team-ups now that Disney has Fox's superhero properties. However, this has all been mostly fan talk and some McU actors having fun thinking about the idea of having the X-Men fight alongside the Avengers on the big screen.

When asked about the Disney and Fox merger having any effect on the story of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn quickly and simply replied, "No." While this may come as a disappointment for some Marvel fans, it also makes a lot of sense.
