Make you have a bucket of water nearby and a scary story in mind, because the Midnight Society will soon be gathering under the stars once again, as Paramount has revealed the official release date for their Are You Afraid of the Dark? movie.

According to numerous sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, the Are You Afraid of the Dark? film—an adaptation of the popular ’90s anthology series—has been given an October 11th, 2019 release date from Paramount. The prime Halloween season placement could make this the big horror movie of the fall in 2019, especially for those of us ’90s kids who have been craving the Nickelodeon nightmare fuel we grew up on.

As previously reported by The Tracking Board, the Paramount Pictures division Paramount Players has hired Gary Dauberman to write a screenplay for a movie based on the Are You Afraid of the Dark? anthology TV series that

Amon Warmann chats with legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy about the new animated film Batman and Harley Quinn, Batman Beyond, Mask of the Phantasm and more…

Many comic book fans will tell you that when they sit down to read the latest Batman issue, it’s Kevin Conroy’s voice they hear. The legendary actor will have been voicing the gravelly-toned Caped Crusader for 25 years this September – a run which has spanned animated cartoons, movies, and video games – and he shows no signs of retiring any time soon.

His latest project is Batman and Harley Quinn, and during our conversation we quizzed him about reuniting with Loren Lester, getting to show Batman’s more comedic side, and comic book stories he’d love to see get the animated movie treatment. Have a read below…

The Dark Knight Takes Flight in This Cool Batman Beyond Print

NYC's Bottleneck Gallery has debuted a cool new Batman Beyond-inspired print from artist Mark Chilcott. It's a giclée that's 13 x 19 inches, and each of the hand-numbered entries (there are only 75) costs $35. They go on sale today (Thursday, April 13, 2017) at 12pm Est at the official website, so head there to try to snag one before they sell out.

Batman Beyond is one of the best futurized takes on a classic comic book superhero. Taking all of the most crucial elements of the Batman mythos, cleverly updating and reconfiguring them, and introducing a younger, more free-spirited Batman in the form of Terry McGinnis, Batman Beyond was a great addition to the Batman cartoon canon. Mark’s piece shows off just how badass the batsuit design from Batman Beyond was!

I still can't over the fact that Terry McGinnis was voiced by Will Friedle, the guy who played Eric Matthews on Boy Meets World.

Review: Batman: The Brave and the Bold The Complete Third Season

  • Comicmix
Well, it’s about time. For the last twenty-five years or so, we’ve had one animated Batman series after another but to be honest only two are really good: Batman the Animated Series and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The latter has been slowly coming out on Blu-Ray with season one in 2013 and season two in 2015. This month, we’re getting the third and final season and the good news is that it is as entertaining as remembered.

After increasingly odd interpretations of Batman, Warner Animation decided to go retro and bring back the Batman of the 1960s, who was not afraid to operate in daylight and would partner with just about anyone in a mask as the need arose. Producer James Tucker saw to it that it honored the comic the series took its name from while modernizing it with contemporary characters and characterizations. The result was

The Guardians and Avengers Collide in Trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy Season 2

Disney Xd has released the first trailer for season two of their Guardians of the Galaxy animated series. It looks like we don't have to wait until Avengers: Infinity War to see the Guardians and the Avengers together onscreen. This trailer shows that they will collide in the animated series when the two superhero teams cross paths with each other.

I don't know if you watch this series or not, but to me, it just seems like wasted potential. It's a very cheaply made series, but the kids seem to enjoy it. There are some fun moments in it, but it could and should be so much better. If you're a fan of it, then this Avengers crossover seems like it'd be something to get excited about.

“Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy” season two will follow Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot on a mission to protect Star-Lord’s home planet of Earth,
