How Candace Cameron Bure Became Synonymous With Christmas, All Thanks to Hallmark Channel
The only thing Hallmark Channel seems to love more than Christmas? A nostalgia-inducing female lead. Candace Cameron Bure, Lori Loughlin, and Danica McKellar seem to be the network's holy trinity, with a solid roster of returning players, Lacey Chabert, Alicia Witt, Ashley Williams, among others, all ready to step up to the poinsettia-plate for the network's wildly successful "Countdown to Christmas" programming.  But if there were ever a Miss Christmas Pageant at Hallmark (hey, that might not be a terrible idea), Candace Cameron Bure would surely be crowned the winner, with her relationship to the network's beloved holiday programming going back to 2008, and she's starred...

Fuller House’s Andrea Barber Says She Thought She’d Never Act Again After Full House
When Full House abruptly ended in 1995, Andrea Barber — who starred as the Tanners’ nosy neighbor Kimmy Gibbler — decided to pursue a college degree full-time instead of looking for other work in Hollywood.

“It was a pretty seamless transition for me. And I was ready,” the actress, 41, tells People in this week’s issue. “I never looked back, and I know that sounds crazy, but I had a lot of success as a child actor, and it really doesn’t get better than Full House for me.”

Barber admits show business’ “torturous” audition process discouraged her from staying in the industry.

Meghan McCain Joins
Meghan McCain is about to have a very new view... Less than two weeks after her departure from Fox News, the political personality has just signed on to The View as a regular co-host, reports Variety. The new addition comes soon after Jedidiah Bila's abrupt departure from the ABC daytime talk show after one year. McCain is the daughter of U.S. Senator and 2008 presidential nominee John McCain. She is a self-described Republican, who has liberal views on several social issues. In recent years, The View has played musical chairs with its co-hosts. The show added back Joy Behar, and said goodbye to Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez, Raven Symone, Michelle Collins, Candace Cameron Bure and most recently...

It’s Official: ‘The View’ Adds Meghan McCain as Conservative Co-Host (Exclusive)
Meghan McCain has officially signed onto “The View” as a regular co-host, Variety has learned exclusively.

McCain’s hire comes just days after she left Fox News, and shortly after the ABC daytime show parted ways with Jedidiah Bila.

McCain is expected to start in early October, joining the panel of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Paula Faris, and Sunny Hostin.

ABC declined to comment on McCain.

Insiders say “The View” nabbed McCain because the show needs a stronger conservative voice, which it has been lacking since Elisabeth Hasselbeck left in 2013 when the series was buzzier, frequently making headlines for in-show sparring between the co-hosts with different political views.

McCain — the daughter of U.S. Senator and 2008 presidential nominee John McCain — has described herself as a Republican with liberal views on several social issues.

Since creator Barbara Walters retired in May 2014, “The View” has been playing a game of musical chairs, enduring
