Production company World of Wonder has launched a subscription service for fans of RuPaul's Drag Race and its other shows. 

Wow Presents Plus builds off of the company's existing YouTube channel, Wow Presents, with a lineup of ad-free originals and a rotating selection of its existing documentaries and series, all for $4 per month.

Drag icon RuPaul, who currently headlines the hit reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race on VH1, could soon be getting the scripted treatment.

A dramedy called Queen is currently in development at Hulu, which will chronicle a fictionalized version of the performer’s rise to fame in New York in the Reagan era. The series will be produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Gary Lennon (Power, Orange Is The New Black), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Executive producers include Abrams, RuPaul (whose real name is RuPaul Andre Charles), Ben Stephenson of Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, and Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato of World Of Wonder -- the production company behind Drag Race.

RuPaul’s Life to Serve as Basis for Hulu Series With J.J. Abrams Producing
Hulu is developing a series based on the life of RuPaul with J.J. Abrams serving as executive producer, Variety has confirmed.

The series, currently titled “Queen,” will present a fictionalized version of RuPaul’s rise to prominence beginning in 1980’s New York up to the present day as a world-renowned drag queen and global icon for the LGBT community.

RuPaul will executive produce along with Gary Lennon, who will also write the script. Abrams and Ben Stephenson will executive produce through Abrams’ Bad Robot banner. Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato will executive produce through World of Wonder. Warner Bros. Television will produce. Bad Robot is currently under an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV. RuPaul, Lennon, and Bad Robot are repped by CAA.

Among the new series is real estate project, starring “Real Housewives of New York City’s” Bethenny Frankel and “Million Dollar Listing New York’s” Fredrik Eklund; a separate show for “Million Dollar Listing” star Ryan Serhant; a “Southern Charm” spinoff in a new city; and a new series, specifically revolving around “Southern Charm” star Shep Rose.

xOn the WOWPresents YouTube channel, production company World of Wonder has shared a number of shows related to its most popular TV program, RuPaul’s Drag Race. Now, World of Wonder is readying two of its biggest digital exclusives yet: As first reported by Variety, it will share a pair of half-hour web series, each one starring a popular Drag Race queen.

The drag queens in question are Alyssa Edwards (real name Justin Johnson), who will host a series called Haus of Edwards, and Detox, who will be take the lead in Detox’s Life Rehab.
