The Original Justice League Post-Credits Scene Featured Green Lantern

DC hasn’t exactly embraced the Marvel model of sticking two post-credits scenes at the end of their movies before now, but Justice League bucked the trend and did just that. The first was a brief but very fun sequence which saw the Flash and Superman challenge each other to a race. The second was much meatier, though, featuring a set-up for an Injustice League headed by Lex Luthor and Deathstroke.

At an earlier stage of production, however, Justice League’s post-credits scene paved the way for another upcoming movie: Green Lantern Corps, set to arrive in 2020. This juicy piece of info comes from Reddit user LND_Film, a visual effects artist who worked on Wonder Woman and has several friends who were involved with Jl. According to them, here’s what the scene originally showed.

“The original after credit scene that was shot in principal photography was Bruce being

How Justice League Nods to Another Major DC Comics Superhero

  • BuzzSugar
Warning: spoilers for Justice League lay ahead! After many months of anticipation, the world has finally been introduced to Justice League. There's a lot to go over between those disappointing Amazonian costume alterations and that game-changing postcredits scene. And while the actual quality of the film is up for debate (it does have a 37 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Fyi), it's still fun to indulge in some action-packed superhero dilly-dallying. And it's even more fun to pick out the little DC Comics Easter eggs that pop up here and there throughout the films. Case in point: there's one pretty fun superhero reference in Justice League that barely lasts a moment. In one scene, Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman) explains the significance of the three boxes that the main villain, Steppenwolf, is trying to attain. Basically, these three boxes - one protected by the Amazons, one protected by the Atlanteans, and one

Detective Pikachu Lands The Get Down Star Justice Smith

  • MovieWeb
Legendary Pictures has found their lead for the upcoming Detective Pikachu, casting The Get Down star Justice Smith. No details about his character have been given, but this will certainly be the first of many casting additions for this project, which will be the first ever live-action Pokemon movie. Legendary hasn't set a release date at this time, but now that the first cast member has come aboard, we may hear about more casting soon.

We reported last month that Legendary is seeking an A-list action star to lend his voice to Detective Pikachu, with the contenders for the role including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Mark Wahlberg. While that report was never confirmed from the studio, it seems that Justice Smith is not playing the title character, although there are still no details about who he's playing. The studio hasn't confirmed an actor to voice the title character yet,

Justice League Review

Justice League is a “step in the right direction” in that instead of tumbling down an upwards-climbing escalator on an endless loop, DC has now managed to brace itself on a bottom step, clutching the handrail in a dizzied, confused daze. Patty Jenkins blazed a trail for franchise improvement with Wonder Woman, but this Zack Snyder/Joss Whedon double-team steps right back into the Dceu’s own mismanaged stink.

Forced “humor” clashes with Snyder’s brand of glib intensity, action sequences rage with no captivation, backstory establishment gets tossed aside – but yes, it’s far more “fun” than Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. For whatever that’s worth? Marvel cultivated their rivaling luminescent, “bright side” universe through patience and genuine charisma – DC just wants to bottle the same magic, hellbent on replicating an existing formula without understanding.

The Justice League’s first venture is to prevent Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), a cosmic warlord,

"Hey @blakeshelton ... take it from me ... humble only gets you so far. Milk the sexy status for All it’s worth. The reign goes all too quickly. Just ask @VancityReynolds @people," the Wolverine actor tweeted.

Which Old School X-Men Character Is Deadpool 2 Introducing?
20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2 is shaping up to be one of 2018's most-anticipated movies, with Ryan Reynolds returning as the Merc With the Mouth. One of the most intriguing new additions to the cast is Hunt For the Wilderpeople breakout star Julian Dennison. The young actor was announced through a social media photo where the actor was seen getting a piggy-back ride from the Merc With the Mouth, with both actors mocking a Star Wars: The Last Jedi photo where Daisy Ridley was getting a piggy-back ride from Mark Hamill. Julian Dennison's casting was announced back in late June, but his character was never confirmed, although a new report has seemingly revealed who he's playing.

The original Deadpool movie introduced one of the more obscure X-Men characters, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, with Brianna Hildenbrand delivering a breakthrough performance that ensured the character's return in the sequel. It seems that this

It appears there's a fashion feud!

On Wednesday, Clinton Kelly shared with his social media followers that his former What Not to Wear co-host, Stacy London, had blocked him on Twitter.

"Alllll righty then," he captioned a screen grab showing that he was blocked by the TV personality.

Kelly's followers were shocked by the tweet and immediately started commenting on the message. The Chew co-host then responded to a few of the reactions and insisted that this isn't new news.

"Don’t go spreading out-of-context bulls**t," he wrote back to one commenter. "The tea is old, and I never spill tea unless I’m shook, which I’m not."

When another follower pointed out that Kelly doesn't follow London on Twitter either, he replied: "Stfu someone tagged us in the same tweet. I don't need attention

‘A Quiet Place’ First Trailer: John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are Terrorized By the Supernatural
Movies starring married couples don’t have the greatest track record with critics (here’s looking at you “By the Sea”), but if any husband and wife can buck the trend it’s got to be John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. “A Quiet Place” is a new supernatural horror film starring the duo opposite Noah Jupe and “Wonderstruck” breakout Millicent Simmonds. The four play a family plagued by supernatural terrors.

Deadpool 2 Trailer May Confirm The Appearance Of This X-Men Villain

Leave it to Ryan Reynolds and Co. to one-up just about every other cinematic marketing campaign with the brazen, tongue-in-cheek teaser for Deadpool 2.

Embedded above, we begin with a mellow painting tutorial from Bob Ross Wade Wilson, who cracks Nsfw jokes and silly innuendoes like they’re going out of fashion. But stick around until the 1:30 mark and you’ll be rewarded with the very first promo for the movie, and it’s fair to say that David Leitch and his editing team have crammed an awful lot of material into this 10-second window.

But perhaps the most interesting moment of all comes just before the montage, where a strange smudge appears on the canvas, causing the anti-hero to be thrown off guard. Admittedly, it’s hard to make out what exactly it is, but the color and shape is pretty similar to how X-Men villain Mr. Sinister appears,

New ‘Deadpool 2’ Teaser Channels Bob Ross

20th Century Fox has released the first footage from ‘Deadpool 2‘. Initially, this trailer feels like another one of the brilliant viral videos that made the marketing campaign for the first ‘Deadpool‘ so special. In this first “Wet on Wet” teaser trailer, we see Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) parodying Bob Ross‘ ‘The Joy of Painting‘ – to great comedic effect. It’s at about the 1:30 mark that the trailer shows us our first glimpses of actual footage from the sequel and I have to say that, although brief, the new footage from ‘Deadpool 2‘ looks quite amazing.

It’s interesting, because this video feels like a very unique hybrid of trailer and viral video. I honestly hope that this gets the chance to actually play in cinemas, although the likelihood of that happening is slim. It was just a few days ago that we saw the first poster for the film

Deadpool 2 Teaser Confirms the Main Villain?

Deadpool 2 Teaser Confirms the Main Villain?
We were finally shown some footage for Deadpool 2 in the new teaser video that was released today, presented as a comical Bob Ross-inspired clip. Although the video was short, it upped the excitement level considerably and fans have been freeze framing every scene to tear it apart and analyze it, showing off Zazie Beetz as Domino and a shot of Cable's techno-organic hand reaching for a gun, along with some old favorites thrown in for good measure. But, while most people were focused on the footage, they may have missed the unveiling of the villain for the first time and it looks as if it is Mister Sinister.

While paying close attention to the canvas and paints that are shown right before the clip montage, a weird smudge is shown on the canvas that immediately throws Wade Wilson off guard. The image is hard to make out, but

Watch: The Merc With a Mouth Channels His Inner Artist in Nsfw 'Deadpool 2' Teaser

  • Movies.com
You want to show fans a teaser, but there's not enough finished footage to fill much time, so what do you do? What would Deadpool do? In the case of the first look at his upcoming movie sequel, he offers a little skit spoofing iconic PBS painting show host Bob Ross. This is an R-rated parody, by the way, so hide your children, even those who might actually appreciate a send up of The Joy of Painting and punny color names like "Doc Brown," "Mennen Black" and "Betty White."  Fans wanting to see actual clips from Deadpool 2 as opposed to or in addition to Ryan Reynolds in costume plus afro wig, there is a very quick montage. We see Deadpool with guns, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) with a new hairdo, other returning...

Today, a very creative teaser trailer was released for the as-yet-untitled sequel to the R-rated superhero movie Deadpool from last year. In it, Ryan Reynolds dons his Deadpool suit and also a Bob Ross-esque wig, and he tries his hand at painting in the informative style of Ross. Because this is Deadpool, there's also a whole lot of swearing, innuendos, and general crude content. Oh, and you do also get to see brief flashes of the actual movie, which looks like it'll feature the kind of crazy action and wacky sidekicks that we've come to know and love. Check out the first teaser below, and look

'Deadpool 2' Delivered Something Completely Out of Left Field

'Deadpool 2' Delivered Something Completely Out of Left Field
Who knew that Deadpool 2 would kick off with an homage to ... Bob Ross?

It turns out that depending on who you ask, its either the most brilliant way to debut first footage, or if you aren't really sure who Ross is, it's a little confusing. Either way, who can complain about new Deadpool 2 footage? The Heat Vision team of Graeme McMillan, Ryan Parker and Aaron Couch take a closer look. But more importantly, Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza even dropped a line to share his two cents as well.

Ryan Reynolds "Is Taking Performance Art to Another Level" With 'Deadpool 2'

Ryan Reynolds
Perhaps no one is more excited for the Wednesday's first footage of Deadpool 2 than the person who started it all.

Comic book creator Rob Liefeld tells Heat Vision he's already watched it "millions of times." Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool impersonating late painter Bob Ross, wearing a wig to mimic his trademark afro. It's a fascinating balancing act, with the actor playing comics' dirtiest and most hyper hero playing perhaps the public television's most calm artist of all time.

"He is taking performance art to another level," says Liefeld, who is so amped for the footage that he rushed out this...
