Sugar Ray Leonard to Floyd Mayweather, Have Lots of Sex, But Don't Party

  • TMZ
[[tmz:video id="0_hhobvdvp"]] Sugar Ray Leonard seemed genuinely shocked that Floyd Mayweather told the world he will party every night from now through next Saturday, when he faces off with Conor McGregor.  The former champ seemed almost in disbelief that Floyd would do such a thing, although there's a good argument Floyd's saying it just to promote his Vegas gentleman's club, Girl Collection. [[tmz:video id="0_vthzbs5q"]] On another subject ... he also strongly disagrees with Floyd on the matter of sex before big fights.

  • TMZ
[[tmz:video id="0_vvnit6ss"]] Screw the talk, screw the hype ... it would only take One Round for Floyd Mayweather to dismantle Conor McGregor in a boxing ring -- so says Sugar Ray Leonard.  The boxing legend -- who actually beat Floyd's dad back in 1978 -- was leaving Catch when he made it very clear McGregor doesn't stand a chance if they fight in a ring instead of an Octagon.  He's still gonna buy it though. Jeffrey Katzenberg Extended His Creative and Business Talent to Television

Jeffrey Katzenberg Extended His Creative and Business Talent to Television
Celebrated for ushering in the renaissance of animated films, Jeffrey Katzenberg has also worked his magic on TV, earning him shelves of Emmys.

Without Katzenberg,Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” might never have gone beyond shtick. Trying to lure Allen to do “Dead Poets Society,” Katzenberg jumped on a table and acted out the parts, Allen recalls. The comedian found it “derivative” and passed, as he did with “Turner & Hooch.”

“He called me back and was just incredulous,” Allen says. Allen, however, seized the opportunity to pitch Katzenberg “Home Improvement.” That Katzenberg magic? “I am not even sure how they got [producers] Matt Williams off of ‘Roseanne’ and Carmen Finestra off of ‘Cosby.’

“He’s a real stand-up guy,” Allen says. “When he says something he means it. He wears his professionalism on his sleeves so you know what you are getting — honorable, fun, intelligent and big-hearted.”

“Rivals” sports a guest spot from rapper Future, which means that it’s going to be an essential club jam from the start. The video clip shows the duo partying it up together, while the song is slow, sensual, and probably has the coolest verse from Future that we’ve heard in a good while. You can check out the video here if you’re a Tidal subscriber and a thirty second clip if you aren’t a part of the service.

The new song joins the four already released, including “Missin U,” “Crash,” the Young Thug-assisted “No Limit,” and “Champions.” “Champions

Lrm Exclusive Interview: Director Jonathan Jakubowicz For Hands Of Stone

Roberto Duran is definitely one of the greatest boxing legends who stepped into the ring.

From director Jonathan Jakubowicz, Hands Of Stone follows the life story of the Panamanian professional boxer known for his devastating punching power to earn the nickname “Manos de Piedra.”

The story follows the boxer growing up in Panama and training at a young early age. He falls in love with a young woman and later adopts a well-known boxing training in New York City for the next stages of boxing championships and greatness. The movie also shows the building rivalry between himself and Sugar Ray Leonard to the ultimate showdown at the No Mas Fight.

Lrm had a sit-down interview with Jonathan Jakubowicz at a press day in Beverly Hills earlier this month. He talked about Roberto Duran, his two actors’ transformations of Edgar Ramirez and Usher Raymond III, and creating Latino hero movies.

Hands Of Stone Review

Thanks to his role in Martin Scorsese’s immortal 1980 classic Raging Bull, Robert De Niro will forever be linked to the sport of boxing in the minds of moviegoers. For the last couple decades, the Oscar-winning actor has been heavily riffing on his past roles for comedic effect in releases like Analyze This, Meet the Parents and Grudge Match, all of which saw De Niro poke fun at his own tough-guy persona and the various archetypes he’s known for. Now he’s back in the world of boxing again – though with a decidedly more dramatic goal in mind – as a key supporting character in writer/director Jonathan Jakubowicz’s Hands of Stone.

The film stars Edgar Ramírez (Joy) as Panamanian boxer Roberto Durán, who rose to prominence in the early 1970s, but rather than focus solely on his rise and fall (and rise again), Hands of Stone also takes

Usher’s New Album Hard II Love Out In September

Usher is in the middle of a promotional run for his upcoming film, Hands of Stone, but he’s still finding time to get stuff done on the music side of things, too. The R&B star has revealed that his eighth full-length record, Hard II Love, will be released on September 16th through RCA Records.
