Stallone's Ex-Wife Brigitte Nelson Calls Sexual Assault Claims a Lie
Though Brigitte Nielsen and Sylvester Stallone have reportedly not spoken in 30 years and had a publicly tumultuous relationship, the former model/actress has come forward to deny the allegations that Stallone coerced a 16-year old girl into a threesome with his old bodyguard 31 years ago. Nielsen, who costarred with Stallone in Rocky IV and Cobra, claimed that the two were very much "newlyweds" when the alleged incident occurred in Las Vegas in 1986. The two were married between 1985 and 1987. Sylvester Stallone spoke out immediately after the story broke to vehemently deny the allegations.

A Las Vegas police report alleged that Sylvester Stallone forced a 16-year old female fan to have a threesome with he and his former bodyguard, Mike De Luca, during the shooting of Over the Top. After allegedly forcing the girl to give oral sex to he and De Luca, the former bodyguard than had sex with her. After the alleged incident was over,

  • TMZ
Sylvester Stallone's ex-wife, Brigitte Nielsen, says there is no way Stallone could have sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in Las Vegas because she was with him the entire time. Red Sonja: new movie version is being fast-tracked

Simon Brew Nov 7, 2017

Funding is already in place for a new Red Sonja movie, following Wonder Woman's success...

The last time we saw Robert E Howard’s creation Red Sonja on the big screen, it was in the midst of 1985’s movie, where the character was played by Brigitte Nielsen. In that particular movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger took top billing.

However, now comes the news that a new take on the character is heading to the big screen, and apparently heading there fast. Producer Avi Lerner, who is overseeing this new version, concedes that Wonder Woman’s success is an influence here, and the funding is now in place for the new film from Millennium Media.

The hunt is now on for a screenwriter for the movie, one who will differentiate it from the 1985 version and have one eye on a franchise.

Early days yet, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear more…

Red Sonja Movie Officially Announced Following ‘Wonder Woman’ Success

Red Sonya is making a comeback and it has a lot to do with the success of Wonder Woman. People seem to want female superheroes and both DC and Marvel have been on track to bring them forward. There’s a Captain Marvel comic in the works, Jessica Jones on Netflix, and a more serious angle being put on making women into the lead stars of these films. Red Sonya however was a lead before the rest of these women ever got considered, save for Wonder Woman. Her original movie starring Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger was met with mixed love

Red Sonja reboot moving forward in the wake of Wonder Woman success

Having been stuck in development hell for the best part of a decade, it looks like the Red Sonja reboot may finally be moving forward thanks to the box office success of Warner Bros.’ female-led DC blockbuster Wonder Woman.

According to Deadline, Millennium Media is moving forward with a new movie, which is being produced by Avi Lerner and Joe Gatta alongside of Mark Canton and Courtney Solomon of Cinelou. The idea is to fast track the project, and the search is now underway for a writer.

“We have been waiting for the right time for this remake,” said Lerner. “With the success of Wonder Woman, the audience has spoken. They want female heroes.”

Loosely based on Conan creator Robert E. Howard’s Red Sonya of Rogantino, Red Sonja debuted in the Marvel Comics series Conan the Barbarian #23 in 1973, and was portrayed by Brigitte Nielsen in the 1985 feature film.

"Wonder Woman": 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'

  • SneakPeek
From TheGoodTheBadandTheUgly.Ca, take a look @ 'the good, the bad and the ugly' in director Patty Jenkins' comic book adaptation "Wonder Woman", starring Gal Gadot as 'Diana Of Themyscira':

Michael Stevens For The Good:

"'Merciful Minerva', it is true that many of us were rooting for dimpled Audrey Hepburn look-alike Gal Gadot, to give us a decent portrayal, in her first stand-alone 'Wonder Woman' feature...

"...after her exciting tease in 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice'.

"And Gadot does not disappoint, delivering the goods as a sweet and sexy, smirking action star...

"...in a 'girl power' film about 'love and compassion'...

"...despite piles of fresh-killed, lantern-jawed Ww I 'enemy' corpses, dying in a cold blue 'No Man's Land'...

...looking more like 'Saving Private Ryan', than the world of Lynda Carter

"But Gadot makes the most of what she's got, with great leaps and bounds.

Interview: Executive Producer Adi Shankar on the Intense Animation & Bold Storytelling of Netflix’s Castlevania Series

  • DailyDead
This past summer was a memorable one for fans of Konami's video game franchise Castlevania. In addition to the release of a new four-episode animated series adaptation of the video games on Netflix, the streaming service also renewed the series for an eight-episode second season, and viewers of the show were treated to a story that took an R-rated approach to violence and a bold path with its storytelling. One of the creative forces behind the new series is Adi Shankar (executive producer of films such as Dredd and The Grey) and I had the opportunity to talk with the filmmaker about collaborating with Sam Deats and Warren Ellis, the freedom of working with Netflix, and much more.

Thanks so much for taking some time to talk with me and congratulations on Castlevania. I wrapped up watching the first season and I absolutely loved it.

Adi Shankar: Amazing, amazing.

Brigitte Nielsen Joins ‘Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets’ Series, Replacing Actor Busted for Child Porn (Exclusive)

Brigitte Nielsen Joins ‘Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets’ Series, Replacing Actor Busted for Child Porn (Exclusive)
Brigitte Nielsen has been cast in “Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets” superhero-themed TV action series, taking over the villain role vacated by Mark Salling, who was indicted last year for receiving and possessing child pornography.

Shankar, who is independently producing the half-hour show, told Variety that Nielsen plays a “modified version” of Salling’s character. The director re-shot scenes with the Danish-born thesp earlier this month and said “Gods and Secrets” is now in post-production.

“I just kind of reached out to her,” Shankar said, saying he’s been in touch with Nielsen ever since he was trying to put together an all-female movie adaptation of “The Expendables” five years ago.

Nielsen’s casting in “Gods and Secrets” was confirmed by her rep at Henderson Represents Inc. She’s perhaps best known for her turns in ’80s movies “Rocky IV,” “Red Sonya” and “Beverly Hills Cop II.”

Re-shooting the scenes with Nielsen required bringing back other

‘Dr. Drew’ Ending After 5 Years on Hln

Dr. Drew Pinsky, the addiction specialist who has been part of the Hln schedule since 2011, is leaving the network as it continues to reshape its daytime and primetime lineups.

Pinsky’s last broadcast will take place September 22, according to a memo from Ken Jautz, the executive who oversees the network. Hln is part of Time Warner’s CNN operations.

“It has been a privilege working at Hln. My executive producer Burt Dubrow and our outstanding staff and contributors were consistently exceptional,” Pinsky said in a statement. “I am very excited to stay within the CNN Worldwide family as a contributor.”

Hln is in the midst of an overhaul that will have it focused more tightly on news. Once known as “CNN Headline News,” Hln is moving back to those roots, aligning itself more closely with CNN while building a new stable of programs that appeal to its core audience, believed to be younger and more female than

This article contains spoilers for Cobra. We suspect we're the only website to have written those words in recent times....

Had Sylvester Stallone had his way, the now cult classic Beverly Hills Cop would have been a much different film. Before Eddie Murphy was cast in the role that would define his acting career, the part of Axel Foley was offered to Sly. Yet the Italian Stallion had other ideas in mind for what he wanted the film to be, so he took it upon himself to rewrite the script, moulding it to suit his strengths as a white-knuckled mortal terminator. As screenwriter Daniel Petrie Jr told us last year, whilst it was "considered a coup to have written a script to attract

The ladies of the moviegoing public are delivered a multipack of fairytale delights, care of this week’s major offering The Huntsman: Winter’s War. While there’s more than enough dwarf ‘n sword action for the guys, the prequel is notable for featuring a raft of great actresses.

Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Sheridan Smith and the returning Charlize Theron fill the bill. And while male attendees won’t exactly be complaining about that, the rippling Chris Hemsworth is very much front and centre for the girls (and indeed guys) who fancy him more than a juicy apple from the Wicked Queen’s local greengrocer.

As it’s one of those rare occasions where women lead the blockbuster charge, let’s celebrate some of the most memorable female fantasy characters who worked their magic on the big and small screens. “Mirror mirror on the wall… I’m sorry I haven

25 great action films that are 90 minutes or under

facebook

google+

Want a quality action film, but you only have an hour and a half? Step this way...

Looking back over the genre, action films definitely haven’t suffered from the trend to make everything longer. They’ve always been pretty long, regularly clocking in at over two hours. Perhaps because of all the slo-mo? But while the sweet spot for action classics seems to be the 100-110 minute mark, there are those that have cut the genre right down to basics, and succeeded all the more for it.

Below is my pick of 25 great action films 90 minutes or under. Even more so than other genres, action crosses many other films - picking a pure ‘action’ flick is all but impossible. So below I’ve chosen films that retain action sequences as their main narrative device, and keep the action at the heart of the movie, rather than as a extra.

10 Most Intriguing Marvel Movies That Were Never Made

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was formed, and Marvel started making one or two films a year, many movies based on the company’s characters had failed to come to fruition over the decades.

Some are tantalizing alternative versions of films that we did end up getting – like a Doctor Strange movie directed by horror legend Wes Craven back in the 90s. It might have taken a while, but we are finally about to get a film featuring the Sorcerer Supreme, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and directed by Scott Derrickson.

More News From The Web

Others, however, are ideas that never made it to the screen at all, like a She-Hulk movie starring Brigitte Nielsen. In the time since that film failed to gestate, we have had two separate flicks starring the Hulk – plus two Avengers movies with Mark Ruffalo – but no film starring his similarly green-skinned cousin.

These two examples
