Dylan McDermott Meets Dermot Mulroney on ‘La to Vegas’ to End 30 Years of Confusion
Dylan McDermott. Dermot Mulroney. Yes, we see how those names are similar, but that doesn’t mean the actors who go by them are the same person. McDermott noted that he and Mulroney even shared the same agent early in their careers, the legendary Sue Mengers, who told them they had to change their names. “I was going to be Mick Dermott,” he said. “That was my genius plan.

Hallmark’s Cheesy Christmas Movies Are Already Dominating Cable This Holiday Season — Ratings Watch
Christmas + romance + cute puppies = A recipe for ratings success at Hallmark. The network known for its sappy made-for-tv movies hit it big over the Thanksgiving weekend with five nights of ratings gifts — making for its biggest week in network history. Among total viewers in cable, only “The Walking Dead” (and its companion “Talking Dead”) and NFL football did better than Hallmark’s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday movies.

The film “Switched for Christmas,” starring Candace Cameron Bure as identical twin sisters who swap lives for the holiday, became the most-watched telecast in Hallmark Channel history on Sunday night. The film averaged 5.8 million viewers after three days of DVR and video on demand usage. Mark Deklin, Eion Bailey, and Happy the Dog — see, it ticked all the Hallmark boxes — also starred.

Close behind, Saturday’s “Hallmark Hall of Fame” presentation, “The Christmas Train,” averaged 5.6 million viewers — beating the four broadcast networks on the night.

Maverick accompanied Mulroney to an interview on Animal Planet’s Animal Nation with Anthony Anderson earlier this year, and he instantly stole the show. The audience could not contain their “awws” for the tiny, furry senior.

Unfortunately, Mulroney revealed to People Now, Maverick died shortly after that appearance.

“He was really on his last leg for that show,” Mulroney said.

Now, the actor is lending his voice to Audible Romance, a new subscription service offering unlimited access to steamy stories and performances, including Underwood’s narration of Midnight Untamed by author Lara Adrian. He’s joined by the likes of Jesse Metcalfe and Dermot Mulroney, who perform novels by Nora Roberts, Sylvia Day and more.

“You're actually articulating something that can be very racy, of course, and risqué. But it's actually kind of fun,” Underwood says of narrating Midnight Untamed, the sizzling standalone story of love lost and found. In order to get in the right mood while performing, he prefers to have the recording booth lights dimmed, “so you can use your imagination.”

But the Quantico star’s provocative performance should come as
