Math Nerds Will Love These New Infinity War Fan Posters

Math Nerds Will Love These New Infinity War Fan Posters
Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War is shaping up to be one of next year's most highly-anticipated movies, and last week, a report claimed that fans heading to theaters to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi will also get to see the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer. One super fan awaiting this trailer is digital artist BossLogic, who spent part of his holiday weekend creating new posters for Avengers: Infinity War, which by no means are official posters sanctioned by Marvel Studios. But they are unique and creative. They all take a unique, math-based approached at the title in quite the creative way.

For those of you who may not be so mathematically-inclined, there is an actual symbol for infinity, which is essentially a sideways 8, so BossLogic decided to have some fun by integrating the infinity symbol into the Infinity War title, while using the six Infinity Stones that Thanos (Josh Brolin

‘Logan’ Director James Mangold Discusses His Early Career, Mentor Alexander Mackendrick

‘Logan’ Director James Mangold Discusses His Early Career, Mentor Alexander Mackendrick
James Mangold was first mentioned in Variety on June 30, 1982, when he won a $1,000 student prize for the sound on his film “Future View.” At California Institute of the Arts, he found a mentor in director Alexander Mackendrick (“The Ladykillers,” “Sweet Smell of Success”), who stressed the importance of character and story rather than “fine-art” film-school fanciness. It’s a lesson Mangold has used on all his films, including “Cop Land” (1997) “Walk the Line” (2005), “3:10 to Yuma” (2007) and his latest, “Logan,” a spinoff of the “X-Men” franchise. Still, Mangold convinced Fox to make “Logan” a film about real people, rather than a VFX green-screen extravaganza.

“Every tentpole seems to be about the end of the world. I felt the formula was tired,” he says. “I think even audiences are exhausted and certain aspects of storytelling have gotten monotonous.” Instead, he wanted to focus on a makeshift family and its members’ very human concerns.

The Batman Won't Be a Reboot, Even with a New Actor
In the wake of Justice League, Ben Affleck's future as Batman in the Dceu continues to be called into question. The actor has suggested in recent interviews that he may be done with the role and recently, it was reported that The Batman director Matt Reeves may be eyeing Jake Gyllenhaal to take over in the upcoming solo movie. Now, we have some new details on the movie, which make the possibility of Affleck not returning all the more interesting.

When the news of Jake Gyllenhaal's possible involvement in The Batman broke, it was reported that Matt Reeves' proposed Batman trilogy would take place either before the events of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice or outside of the Dceu continuity altogether. According to film reporter Mario Francisco-Robles, The Batman will take place after the events of Justice League and will just be swapping out actors.

Here’s What Jake Gyllenhaal Could Look Like As Batman

Jake Gyllenhaal as the ninth incarnation of Gotham’s Dark Knight?

That’s the rumor currently doing the rounds online, after one report claimed Matt Reeves, writer-director on The Batman, has hand-picked Gyllenhaal to be his Caped Crusader, and the one who would eventually succeed Ben Affleck in the title role.

Keep in mind that many of DC’s bigwigs have since voiced their support of Affleck’s costumed crusader on the belief that he will indeed reprise the part in time for The Batman in 2018, despite all of those conflicting reports swirling online. So, until we have something official from the studio, it’d be best to treat this all just as a rumor for now. Still, that hasn’t stopped fan artist extraordinaire Boss Logic from putting together a quick design of how the Stronger star may appear should he indeed take over the role, and you can

The End Of Batfleck? Matt Reeves “Doesn’t Want” Justice League Actor For The Batman

All summer long, Justice League was dogged by allegations that Ben Affleck was weighing up his future as the Caped Crusader.

Back then, ardent Batfleck supporters brushed aside any and all claims on the belief that they were manufactured hit-pieces designed to stir up controversy. The ensuing ‘will he, won’t he?’ saga gripped the Internet for months, but on the eve of Justice League‘s theatrical debut, it now looks certain that Ben Affleck is headed for the exit door.

It all started when Affleck himself cast doubt on his future within the DC Extended Universe two weeks ago, leading many to conclude that Matt Reeves was ready to cast another Hollywood A-lister in time for The Batman. Fast forward to now, and with reports suggesting that Jake Gyllenhaal is high on Reeves’ radar, Rob Keyes of Screen Rant has offered a little context to the whole situation.

The Russos tease mass destruction with Avengers: Infinity War set photo

As we wait with bated breath for our first official glimpse at Avengers: Infinity War, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have taken to Twitter to tease a scene of mass destruction from the hotly-anticipated Marvel blockbuster (or perhaps its as-yet-untitled sequel). The image is somewhat vague, but we’d have to assume this is some kind of battleground where Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have went up against Thanos…

Sebastian Stan talks about the difficulties of filming Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is being touted as one of the biggest, and most impressive comic book films ever made. We have heard this repeatedly from the cast, crew, and head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige himself, and while we still don’t have a trailer to chew on, we do have yet another cast member talking about the filming process for Avengers: Infinity War. Recently speaking at the Rhode Island Comic Con, Sebastian Stan discussed the difficulties of filming such a massive, and daunting project (via comicbook.com):

“It’s not something you always deal with. I feel like you always kind of have a script. But I guess, what I would say is, because we’ve done these characters for a bit now, there’s a little bit of a telepathic kind of knowledge between us and the writers. And you kind of can sometimes guess where they’re going to take it,

Jones plays the judge and McGhie portrays the defendant.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige found Avengers: Infinity War an “emotional” experience

The Marvel Cinematic Universe celebrates its 10th anniversary in style next year as it brings together the majority of its characters for the superhero epic Avengers: Infinity War, and during an interview with Collider, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has been describing the “emotional” experience of seeing the entire McU coming together.

“It is overwhelming,” said Feige. “I guess what has surprised me is how emotional it all is. Every day, every dailies, every time an actor that has never interacted with a character comes in contact with a character they’ve never interacted with, it’s amazing. It’s both funny, it’s moving and just seeing all those people together in one spot is—you know me, I like to look ahead. Avengers: Infinity War, and the story threads you need to know

Rob Leane Nov 20, 2017

Earth's Mightiest Heroes will finally take on the big baddie Thanos next year. Here's everything you need to know...

This article contains spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok, and various McU movies before it.

Arriving in April next year, Avengers: Infinity War is set to be the culmination of everything we’ve seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have written the script, with Joe Russo and Anthony Russo handling the direction. Those four chaps first collaborated on the grounded-by-Marvel-standards espionage flick Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before expanding their operation significantly for its superhero slugfest sequel Captain America: Civil War.

With Infinity War, they are working with an even bigger stable of heroes. The film’s official poster shows – deep breath! - Robert Downey Jnr’s Iron Man, Chris EvansCaptain America, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor,

Avengers 4 could see the return of dead McU characters

Not content with bringing back virtually every character still breathing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel, it seems that Marvel Studios and the Russos may be throwing a few deceased ones into the mix too.

There’s already been rumours that Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter could feature (although that could also be in Ant-Man and the Wasp) in Avengers 4, and now Robert Downey Jr. has sparked speculation that Frank Grillo’s Brock Rumlow / Crossbones and Maximiliano Hernandez’s Jasper Sitwell could feature in the film, with both actors appearing in a photo shared by Downey at a charity event in Atlanta.

Now, it’s possible that both Grillo and Hernandez were just visiting friends, but Grillo has recently revealed that Marvel has plans for his character, and we already know that Avengers 4 will feature a flashback to the first Avengers movie, so

The Hulk and Rocket Raccoon will strike up a friendship in Avengers: Infinity War

As Marvel brings together all corners of its Cinematic Universe next year with Avengers: Infinity War, we’re going to get to see a number of characters meeting and interacting for the very first time, and it seems that will lead to (at least) one unlikely new friendship in The Incredible Hulk and Rocket Raccoon!

“It’s a very funny relationship that the two of them have,” Thor: Ragnarok star Mark Ruffalo tells USA Today. “First of all, it’s the biggest superhero and the smallest. Just keeping them in a frame together is a feat and hilarious in itself.”

Rocket won’t be the only member of the Guardians who finds themselves a new pal either, as we heard last month that Adolescent Groot will find himself a new mentor figure who he begins to model himself after.

The Russos say Avengers: Infinity War is “a heist film” about Thanos stealing the Infinity Stones

As we continue to wait on the first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have been chatting to CNET about what we can expect from the superhero epic, describing it as “a heist film” as Thanos goes about stealing the Infinity Stones.

“With Infinity War, the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he’s entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he’s almost one of the leads,” said Anthony. “We’ve shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he’s going after the Infinity Stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a
