Come along as I watch new films and relive the old ones, rating and reviewing all the while. In this list you fill will find every movie I've watched since moving to Cali in September of 2012.
Movie rating system:
1 - Can a movie really be this bad? I have lost faith in the universe. 2 - *beep* my life, and this movie. I couldn't finish it. 3 - Bad enough to evoke anger, but I was still able to get to the end. 4 - Damn... I feel like I could have chosen something better to do for the last 90 mins. 5 - Uninspiring. Did nothing for me. I am no better or worse off having watched it. 6 - Worth a watch. No replay value. 7 - Enjoyed. Will probably rewatch in a couple years. 8 - Loved. Will own the DVD/Blu Ray, will rewatch and recommend. 9 - Nearly perfect. Must own. Can watch numerous times. 10 - Flawless. I sleep with this movie under my pillow.

1. End of Watch (2012)

Good cop movie. I didn't see why the handcam was really necessary. Seemed a little unreal but worth a watch. 6/10
2. In Time (2011)

Despite being a tad slow, had me interested and a big payoff at the end. 7/10

Had to struggle at times to keep interest, but sucked me in during the last half hour. 6/10
10. Holes (2003)

No expectations for this, so it was a small surprise that I was able to stay involved in the plot. 5.5/10

Entertaining and funny. One watch was enough. 6.5/10

18. The Revenant (I) (2009)

In Los Angeles, a fallen soldier who has joined the ranks of the living dead reunites with his best friend in order to deal with the city's drug dealers and killers - a perfect way to collect the blood that one of them so desperately needs.
Loved the characters and plot. Can't believe it fell off track so horribly towards the end. 6/10
19. The Room (2003)

Johnny is a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancée, Lisa. One day, inexplicably, she gets bored with him and decides to seduce his best friend, Mark. From there, nothing will be the same again.
Good god it's bad. So, so bad. Still can't deny the fun you can have watching it. 6.5/10
20. Videodrome (1983)

A virus is airborne, a man seals his home while his wife is still outside. That's the entire film until things change for the ending. A film that succeeds at sucking you in and then fails to deliver anything worthwhile. 5/10

A slasher full of bad acting and writing. Good killer and special effects, but this one was pretty hard to watch. 4/10
27. The Awakening (I) (2011)

In 1921, England is overwhelmed by the loss and grief of World War I. Hoax exposer Florence Cathcart visits a boarding school to explain sightings of a child ghost. Everything she believes unravels as the 'missing' begin to show themselves.
Hardly delivered in scares or suspense. More of a mystery, which wasn't very interesting actually. 5/10
28. Harsh Times (2005)

A tough-minded drama about two friends in South Central Los Angeles and the violence that comes between them.

Bale nailed a challenging role and keeps you entertained the entire time. 7/10

30. Freddy vs. Jason (2003)

With probably the best possible storyline to work with, Ronny Yu directed a stinker. This movie went from horror wet dream to wetting the bed. Still had some nice aspects. 5.5/10

Forgettable film, though Statham's character was somewhat entertaining. 5.5/10

I think this is my second favorite Wes Anderson film after Life Aquatic. Funny and beautifully shot. 7/10

38. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011)
