Best werewolf movies/TV shows

by BlackDeath91 | created - 17 Sep 2012 | updated - 3 months ago | Public

This is a list of my favorite werewolf movies. I have seen a few more but they are not good. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know there are a good bit coming out in the next few years. As for Teen wolf, I don't have the show added because I haven't seen it.

The werewolves look great. Great action, the story is ok. I thought it had good acting and was shot in a great location. Can't wait for the sequel.

I thought this was a great Werewolf movie and easily one of my favorite werewolf movies ever. The guy never fully transforms into a werewolf, he's more like the one in wolf. Except I think he looks better, plus he kinda has a snout. The transformation scene is short, but it is good. It is violent and gory, which is what most people want. Good story, with a ending that could lead to a sequel. It is shot found footage/documentary style, but it is neither. However this movie is not that well known, but I'd love to see a sequel. DVD release date is set for Sept. 23rd and digital release is up now.

I loved the werewolf design and the fact they didn't use any CG. It has a good story and is pretty funny. The transformation scenes were good. The only thing I didn't like was how easy the werewolves died. But it is definitely one of the best werewolf movies Ive seen. AKA Attack of the Werewolves. It is available on amazon for those of you in the U.S like I am. You have to buy the region A/B/C free one.

It had a pretty decent story. The werewolf looked good. I thought the acting was good and some of the locations where it was shot were really good. Best part is in the woods in the fog.

I liked this one a lot more than the original. Starts of slow, but picks up a lot. Though I found some of the script to be lacking and dull at points. The transformation scene in the asylum is one of the best ever, just behind An American Werewolf in London and The Howling. The wolfman is very well done and looks just like an updated version of the original wolf man. It also has some pretty gory parts.

For a B movie on a very low budget it is pretty well done. The werewolf looks pretty awesome. Also Dense Fear which is the first movie is not on IMDb, which was made back in 2003 is a very good werewolf movie as well. Though the quality isn't great on it. The 2nd overall is a little better, has more werewolf action in it. Both can be seen on youtube.

I thought this movie was good overall. The story is decent, and pretty good acting. The werewolves look good, really liked the giant werewolf/lycan. Also has good fast paced action.

This is a comedy, but the werewolves look decent. Its more of a spoof of werewolf movies. The 1st werewolf looks kinda like the one from teen wolf. The 2nd looks a lot more like a werewolf except for the chicken legs. I thought it was decent and it has some good comedy in it. Plus it was a ABC family movie so don't expect anything great or bloody. Still one of the better werewolf movies in my opinion.

Better than I thought it would be. Werewolf didn't look great tho. I would have had it a lot higher but the last 20 min or so ruined it. I thought the rest of it was good.

While it is only around 8 minutes long it is great. The werewolf transformation scene is brief & CGI but still looks good. Plus it is beautifully shot and has good acting. Blood & gore is very nicely done. If you want to check it out go to http://blainemoir.wix.com/endoftheroad and contact them for the password, they will send it and a link to watch/download it. I would have it higher up if it was a full length film, but still ans excellent watch.

Based on the fact it is a short I'm not rating it that high. However they may make a full length version if they get the budget to do so, this is only a part of the story. This one was made on a very low budget and it very well done. The she-wolf doesn't look the best, but they didn't have a big budget. It shot beautifully in Scotland and has some great camera work. Really looking forward to a full length movie.

Decent movie, have to say has some bad acting at parts though. Luckily most of the bad acting is in the 1st 20 min. The werewolf looks decent to be honest. Both of the costumes look good. Plus a werewolf with steel skin would be pretty awesome. The story however is ok. If you want to watch it, it is posted on youtube.
