The series has had a long and turbulent history, with the most unimaginable highs, as well as the deepest lows, which almost shut down the series several times, probably most notably the hiatus between [link=tt0097742]Licence to Kill[/link] (1989) and [link=tt0113189]GoldenEye[/link] (1995). But luckily Albert "Cubby" Broccoli decided to continue on, and with the help of his daughter Barbara Broccoli and his stepson Michael G. Wilson, managed to steer Bond into the 21st century. In this list I present my rank all the Bond films from [link=tt0055928] Dr. No[/link] (1962) until [link=tt0830515]Quantum of Solace[/link] (2008). I will update the list with [link=tt1074638]Skyfall[/link] (2012) when I get around to see it (which will be before the end of December). Ken Adams has also received little credit for what he did with the sets on the little budget he received. Although, he has received tremendous credit on later productions (most notably <a href="/title/tt0058150/">Goldfinger</a> (1964), <a href="/title/tt0062512/">You Only Live Twice</a> (1967) and <a href="/title/tt0076752/">The Spy Who Loved Me</a> (1977)), for his imaginative sets.<br/><br/>Fun Fact: The scene where <span class="spoiler"><span>Bond kills Dent</span></span> was originally drastically shortened for the theatrical release because test audiences reacted negatively to it.
